The house is very cute and was recently totally redone with pretty much new everything. Walls, floors, kitchen,fixtures, etc... Professionally decorated.
Even though not beachfront, the house is waterfront and is pretty much centrally located between the gulf of mexico and the sandy "north beach" of the mississippi sound.
Walk to either in just minutes with little if any traffic and you have deeded access to guarantee your unlimited use of both.

THE PRIVATE Dipping POOL:
House features an elevated fiberglass pool. We have the only Private, heated Pools on the Gulf beaches of Dauphin Island. Houses Book Quickly. Pools Are Pre-Set @ 90 Degrees oct thru mid May. (PLEASE NOTE THAT CONDITIONS MAY CAUSE POOL & SPA TO BE HOTTER OR COLDER THAN SETTINGS) We cannot guarantee performance & function of the pool and spa, & no discounts will be given due to any issues.
POOL SIZE IS 8'X15'(4 feet deep).(holds 10-12 People.
Dauphin Island is very laid back & non-commercialized, but has shops, a grocery store, bakery, & several restaurants ranging from pizza, ice cream and burgers, to great seafood and steaks. The island is accessible by bridge from I-10 and I-65. Gulf Shores/Fort Morgan is only a few miles away & is accessible by auto ferry (makes a great day trip).
For attractions, visit the Sea Lab, historic Fort Gaines, play a round of golf at the Isle Dauphine gulf-front course, view birds and wildlife & explore secluded beaches at the Audubon Sanctuary, fish on the beach or at the long gulf-front fishing pier, charter a boat for sightseeing or deep-sea fishing, swim, bike, walk, collect shells, or JUST PLAIN RELAX!
