The rue Rousselet is a quiet street situated along the large, private garden of a convent. when you are tired of all sightseeing and shopping, you can return to your tasteful, calm apartment overlooking a great garden, a view of the Eiffel Tower and enjoy the setting sun. For a great dinner you don’t have to go far, the neighborhood is full of wonderful restaurants and bistros.
Our fourth (fifth US) floor apartment looks out onto a large, private garden in the heart of Paris. With the Eiffel Tower in the background, stunning sunsets and a beautiful view of a private garden, your stay in Paris could not be more romantic.
At fifty square meters (500 square feet), the apartment feels larger because, with no building in front of it, the rooms are filled with sunlight. The nights are quiet because no cars can park on the street.
This 19th century building is located in the heart of St. Germain. There is a charming entrance way and a small two person lift to bring you upstairs. The apartment consists of two rooms and a bathroom. The bedroom overlooks the garden and from the queen size bed you can see the Eiffel Tower, night and day.
The large living room, dining room, kitchen has a loft feel with windows at both ends. One set looks out over the garden and the other over a private courtyard, providing great cross ventilation. Refurbished in 2003, the apartment is decorated with a mix of traditional and contemporary furniture, wood floors, fireplace, high ceilings and quality fabrics. All in all, a tasteful and very comfortable place to stay.
As for the furnishings, they include a top quality Queen bed, special “bad back”-natural latex and wooden slates-, and a comfortable convertible sofa.
The apartment is perfect for a couple but can suit 2 small children or a third adult on the sofa.
Of course we supply linen, towels, downs, blankets and other necessities. For those staying more than two weeks, weekly maid service is included at no extra cost. |
