Experience breathtaking sunsets and starry, moonlit nights while relaxing on the wraparound porch of our comfortably beautiful Gulf front home. A mere 50 feet from our door you can enjoy wide, private, pristine beaches where every day offers sightings of at least twice as many dolphins as people. Walk along our flat, wide beaches as you watch seagulls, pelicans, and even the occasional eagle dive into the surf in seach of their perfect seafood repast. Or you may choose to build sand castles by day and a beach bonfire by night, where the quest for the world's greatest S'mores is never ending.
Also included for your enjoyment is a complimentary Family Fun Pass EACH DAY for an 18 hole round of golf, AND a deep sea Gulf of Mexico fishing excursion, AND horseback riding on the beach, AND unlimited DVD rentals. EACH DAY of your visit!
If you love to fish, but don't choose the deep sea excursion, you may choose to bring your own boat and launch it from the Indian Pass Campgound boat ramp less than five minutes down the road. Surf fishing from right in front of the house is a relaxing and productive pastime which many of us enjoy. Also available are close in bay fishing charters that you may enjoy.
Enjoy your favorite TV shows, videos, and DVDs on our 46-inch, wide-screen, flat screen, LCD HD television. Also available is HIGH SPEED WIRELESS INTERNET. Sleep comfortably on the king sized, sleep number adjustable mattress in the master bedroom as well as queen sized beds in the other bedrooms, one having a select comfort adjustable mattress. Gulf vistas are available from all first floor areas.
Explore Saint Vincent Island's national wildlife refuge two miles away and enjoy Saint Joseph's State Park which was named as America's best beach in 2002 and just recently (December, 2012) was named the year's top State Park in the USA.
We also welcome the well behaved canine members of your family. Indian Pass is one of the most PET FRIENDLY beaches in Florida.
We know you will enjoy our home as much as we do. We invite you to come Coastawhile with us. We are proud to offer MILITARY, SENIOR CITIZEN, AND RETURN GUEST DISCOUNTS.

Year Purchased: 1997
About the owner: Since retiring in 2001, we have spent half of every year here at Coastahwile. We built Coastawhile as a retirement home in 1997, and enjoy renting to people who appreciate the 'homey' atmosphere and personal features of our home as opposed to more typical generic rental 'units'. Almost 25% of our rental guests are repeat visitors, and we appreciate their loyalty as well as valuing their feedback.
Why the Owner Chose Indian Pass:
After searching the east coast from North Carolina down to mid-Florida, and most of the western Florida Panhandle for almost five years, we discovered the 'Forgotten Coast of Florida' and knew that we had found a place for our vacation/retirement home. We bought the lot in 1994 and built Coastawhile in 1997. The quaint, low key charm of the area perfectly suits the wants and needs of our lifestyle. We are only twenty minutes from both Port St. Joe and Apalachicola, an hour to Panama City, and less than two hours to Tallahassee and Destin.
