My girlfriends & I spent a nice relaxing weekend here recently. We were blown away by the view and enjoyed the Southwestern decor. We felt like we had left Oregon and were in our own world for awhile. I have no complaints whatsoever. The kitchen was fully stocked and we had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend. I would recommend going for the Hacienda, despite the greater price. We were able to see the Casa Del Sol as well and the Hacienda is well worth the extra dinero! :)Did you find this review helpful? Twelve of us stayed at this beautiful property renting both homes. The houses sit on a bluff right next to the ocean where you can whale, bird, and seal watch until your heart is content. Better still, sit in the hot tub while enjoying the incoming surf! The houses are stocked with great cooking equipment, decorated in a South West theme that wows you when you first enter! Kiva gas fireplaces in the living rooms and Master bedrooms give that cozy feeling! This was our third retreat staying here. I highly recommend these homes for your get-away. They are beautiful and so different than anywhere else I have stayed on the coast. If you choose to just rent one, you will have plenty of privacy from the other, with a common entry-way but seperate hot tubs and decks. Kelly is wonderful to work with and always made sure our visit was a great experience. Oh and YES we played drums everynight to the moon and the ocean. Congas, Jembes, Native drums, rattles etc... echoing into the night!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
