This lovely spacious upscale home is situated on a quiet cul-de-sac surrounded by tropical landscaping in the gated resort community of Emerald Shores.
Tropical Escape consists of a large living, formal dining, and kitchen area, three baths, three bedrooms, and a spacious loft area for relaxing or sleeping. The smoke-free home has wood flooring throughout with the exception of tile in the bathrooms, pantry, and laundry.
The master suite located upstairs has a garden tub in the master bath, king size bed, and doors opening on to a wraparound balcony for that early morning coffee or late evening cocktail. The room is accommodated with a TV/DVD player.
The two guest bedrooms located upstairs offer a queen size bed and two doubles. The bedrooms share a bath. A spacious loft area for sitting or sleeping off of the bedrooms is equipped with a full sleeper sofa and doors opening on to a wraparound balcony for late evening relaxation. The loft area as well as each bedroom is equipped with TV's and DVD/VCR players.
Tropical Escape has a soft, warm spacious living room with a queen sleeper sofa. The living room is equipped with a TV/DVD/CD/Stereo player. The fully equipped kitchen is next to the formal dining room with seating for 8 and 4 additional at the breakfast bar. Off of the kitchen are the laundry, a full bath, and large walk-in pantry.
Tropical Escape is a 6 minute stroll to the Gulf of Mexico or you can take the private beach tram which operates seasonally within Emerald Shores. The beach pavilion is for Emerald Shores owners and guests only (entry code) and is accommodated by private restrooms, outdoor shower, and beach service (chairs and umbrella). Emerald Shores is family oriented offering two large swimming pools(heated seasonally), on-site tennis, shuffleboard, and basketball.

Destin is such a family friendly vacation spot and the beaches are absolutely beautiful!

Our journey began in late 2002 when we purchased our first vacation home called Tropical Breeze. We entered this adventure with open minds thinking we would purchase a home, hang on to it for five years, sell and then upgrade to a larger home we would eventually move into. We vacationed in Destin when our busy schedules permitted us to and we would take our shoes off from the time we arrived, and they stayed off until we left. Our days were spent at the beach burying our sons in the sand and enjoying the summer breezes. We felt this was a joy everyone should experience. The only way this could happen was to share our vacation home with others. The response from our guests was so overwhelming that we found ourselves turning families away. With additional planning and a lot of prayer, we purchased Tropical Paradise and Tropical Dreams in 2004. In 2005 we purchased Tropical Escape. Six years and four vacation homes later (2008), we have finally move to Destin.

Welcome to Tropical Escape. My husband and I recently purchased this home (April 2005) with hopes that you will make it your home away from home year after year. Destin is a wonderful family vacation area and so is Emerald Shores. The gated resort community offers safety as well as many other amenities to make your vacation enjoyable.
