Located on the corner of Harvard and Coral Avenues, The Gathering Place is very conviently located at a beautiful, private, Cape May Point beach entrance. Victorian Cape May can be visited by an easy jog, bike ride, or even stroll along the beach.
With fantastic ocean views and only steps away from the beach, this recent construction features an upside down style and high ceilings for perfect ocean vistas from the great room, solarium area, as well as the kitchen and two master suites. There are three bedrooms and a fourth bedroom/den area which acesses a screened patio facing the beach and dunes. This enclosed area has an outside entrance as well. This Den/fourth bedroom serves as a gathering area on the lower level for TV viewing or conversation. Also, offering versatility to the first level is a full service coffee bar, consisting of refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, and sink which allow it to function independently from the upper level.
All rooms have color TV with DVD or VCR access. There are three bathrooms and one powder room, two on each level.
The second floor features a solarium seating area for relaxing 180 degrees views of the dunes and ocean. This area opens to a deck for outside basking in the sun while listening to the relaxing sounds of the waves. Additionally, there is the great room which provides for larger gatherings with a relaxing water view or for enjoying TV, and/or the warmth of the fireplace.
The modern second floor kitchen consists of contemporary cabinets with granite tops and a breakfast bar. There is a built in wine cooler, a self cleaning oven, refrigerator with water purifier and icemaker, large built in microwave, toaster oven, garbage disposal, blender and coffee maker.
The kitchen is fully accessorized. The dining area seats eight to ten. All rooms have ceiling fans in addition to central air conditioning and heat. A dedicated niche with desk and chair provides wireless high speed internet access. The second floor master bedroom has a balcony offering ocean views and a make up/vanity area while the master bath offers a whirlpool tub, a two sink vanity, and a shower.
An outdoor enclosed hot/cold private shower is provided for a quick clean up from the beach. The screened in patio makes it an insect free picnic area with a table and gas grill for outdoor cooking and dining. An extra large capacity washer and dryer on the first level make washing a one stop visit for beach laundry.
The house is newly furnished, including all new mattresses. Off street parking, beach chairs and beach umbrella are provided. Please no smoking and no pets. Our house lends it self nicely to extended families; and we offer our home to those that appreciate and care for it as if it were their own.
A charming beach community, Cape May Point encompasses all one would imagine a beach resort to have: a Lighthouse whose light rhythymically passes by, cool sea breezes that can only be experienced at The Point, a vast array of vegetation, the country's greatest number of bird species. Biking, walking, jogging and rollerblading are especially pleasant experiences with minimum traffic and exceptional scenery.
