If you are someone who is dreaming of taking a hawaiian vacation and want all the amenities of a bigger luxury condo but don't want to pay the prices, here is your chance. We have a luxurious studio, centrally located across the street from the beach, with nightly prices less than you would pay for most hotels/motels that are not even close to a beach. With a full kitchen and washer/dryer in our studio, its like home away from home except for the paradise setting. READ ON!!!

We would like to welcome you to stay at our cute, tropically decorated studio at the Kihei Akahi. This beautifully landscaped complex is located in sunny South Kihei where only six to eight inches of rain a year is the norm, almost assuring you of a warm, relaxing sunny vacation.

The Akahi is located directly across the street from Kamaole II Beach which faces the western horizon for some of the most breathtaking sunsets imaginable.This beautiful sandy beach is also great for swimming, snorkleing & sunning. The Akahi has two swimming pools, tennis court, barbecues, and an activities center if you desire to book some of the countless activities Maui has to offer.

It is centrally located in Kihei, and just moments away from restaurants, night clubs, shopping, parks, and some of the best beaches in Maui. A lot of these are within walking distance from the studio. Even the airport is only 15 miles away, so within 20-30 minutes of picking up your car after arriving, you could be standing on the beach looking out over the clear blue Pacific ocean. Truly a vacation to remember forever.

Our studio is set up to please. It is not just a vacation rental for our guests, but for us as well. So if we love it, we feel all of our guests will feel the same way. We have just remodeled the kitchen and bathroom with new cabinets, granite countertops, tile shower, new fixtures and appliances. It is furnished in a Hawaiian theme to give you the feel of being on the island even when you decide to stay in. Included in our studio is a full kitchen with all utensils, bathroom with shower, en-suite washer and dryer, all linens, a 27 inch TV/VCR/DVD with only one remote, cable TV, a small selection of DVDs, games, books, etc. A stereo cassette, CD, AM/FM player with a few Hawaiian CDs to set the mood. Also included is high speed internet.

We also provide beach chairs, beach bag, umbrellas, beach towels, mats, and a cooler to make your trip to the beach more enjoyable. Cordless phone with answering machine, local calls are free. Please use phone card for long distance. A very comfortable queen-size bed. This studio is set up for two people only and is a non-smoking unit.

Our studio is located across the street from 3 great beaches on the main road in Kihei but to the back of the complex so it is very quiet and peaceful when returning from an active day and you just want to relax in a quiet setting away from it all.   • This nice condo was just perfect for my 5 night stay. It had everything that I needed, and was nice and Quiet. A nice breeze through the unit, no A/C was ever needed. It is just as pictured, I would certainly stay here again, and can feel comfortable in recommending it for one person, or two persons on a budget.

  • We have just arrived home after a months stay at this condo. The Condo was very CLEAN and had everything we needed for our holiday. We especially liked the washer and dryer, made life so much easier after a day at the beach!! Although it is a studio, it has everything you need for daily living. The morning sun shines in the window and lanai and the lanai is shaded and cool in the afternoon. There is a a/c, but we didn't need it, as there are ceiling fans and the condo stayed cool all day and night. Another big plus, was the internet, which kept us connected to friends and family throughout the month we were gone from home. I would rent this place again and found the owners, Mac and Maria so very accommadating and easy to deal with.

  • We loved this little condo and can hardly wait to come back to it. It is perfectly located, across the road from Kama'ole II; it is comfortable, complete even to the beach stuff, like chairs and a beach bag for books and sun screen; it feels much more spacious than you would think, for a studio; and there is nowhere else we would rather be on Maui. Many thanks to Mac and Maria for making this wonderful little nest-like retreat available!
