We would like to welcome you to stay at our cute, tropically decorated studio at the Kihei Akahi. This beautifully landscaped complex is located in sunny South Kihei where only six to eight inches of rain a year is the norm, almost assuring you of a warm, relaxing sunny vacation.
The Akahi is located directly across the street from Kamaole II Beach which faces the western horizon for some of the most breathtaking sunsets imaginable.This beautiful sandy beach is also great for swimming, snorkleing & sunning. The Akahi has two swimming pools, tennis court, barbecues, and an activities center if you desire to book some of the countless activities Maui has to offer.
It is centrally located in Kihei, and just moments away from restaurants, night clubs, shopping, parks, and some of the best beaches in Maui. A lot of these are within walking distance from the studio. Even the airport is only 15 miles away, so within 20-30 minutes of picking up your car after arriving, you could be standing on the beach looking out over the clear blue Pacific ocean. Truly a vacation to remember forever.
Our studio is set up to please. It is not just a vacation rental for our guests, but for us as well. So if we love it, we feel all of our guests will feel the same way. It is furnished in a Hawaiian theme to give you the feel of being on the island even when you decide to stay in. Included in our studio is a full kitchen with all utensils, bathroom with tub and shower, en-suite washer and dryer, all linens, a 27 inch TV/VCR/DVD with only one remote, cable TV, a small selection of DVDs, games, books, etc. A stereo cassette, CD, AM/FM player with a few Hawaiian CDs to set the mood. Alsoincluded is high speed internet.
We also provide beach chairs, beach bag, umbrellas, beach towels, mats, and a cooler to make your trip to the beach more enjoyable. Cordless phone with answering machine, local calls are free. Please use phone card for long distance. A very comfortable queen-size bed. This studio is set up for two people only and is a non-smoking unit.
Our studio is located across the street from 3 great beaches on the main road in Kihei but to the back of the complex so it is very quiet and peaceful when returning from an active day and you just want to relax in a quiet setting away from it all.
