During whale season, you can watch them from your private lanai or from the inside of your condo! Enjoy incredible sunsets every evening from your own heavenly paradise. Let the sound of the surf lull you to sleep at night. Open your eyes to another glorious morning and look out at the awesome view ... You're likely to see whales (in season), kayakers, windsurfers, and turtles ... It's hard to "sleep in" here! You'll want to get up early so you don't waste a moment of your time here in paradise!
"Lani" means "heavenly," and that describes our place perfectly! "LaniMaui" offers everything you'll need to make your stay comfortable while you're here in paradise. There's a queen-size bed, along with a sofa sleeper for extra sleeping accommodations, in this studio unit. Everything you might possibly need is supplied in the wonderful kitchen, where you can gaze out at the sparkling ocean as you fix your meals. Or, use the gas grill beside the water's edge and enjoy your meal on the picnic table beside the seawall.
Conveniently located in the corner unit on the ground floor, just step outside and you're beside the sea! Kahana Beach is a great stretch of beach situated directly beside your unit ... enjoy the privacy of being in the bottom corner of the two-story building with only eight units ... and you're in the one closest to the water! Swim and snorkel right here ... there's a reef directly in front of our building. There are two grills on the property, a shared laundromat, tennis courts and two swimming pools!
Located in Kahana, on the beautiful west coast of Maui, Pohailani is conveniently located between Ka'anapali and Kapalua ... just a 10-minute drive to historic Lahaina Town. The small Kapalua airport is just a mile away, where you can catch a flight to Honolulu or another island with ease. There are several great restaurants within a short walking distance, including the world famous Roy's Restaurant, Maui Brewing Company, China Boat, Outback Restaurant ... even a McDonald's!
It's just one block to Kahana Gateway Shopping Center, where you'll find Whaler's General Store, which has some basic grocery items, beer and wine, and souvenirs, a bank, art gallery, jewelry store, coffee and ice cream shop and several other great stores and restaurants. Large grocery stores are just a few minutes' drive in either direction. Kahana is a quieter area than the busy Lahaina Town ... so nice to come home to your own quiet paradise.
But if you're in the mood for more action, just hop in your car and head south for a couple of miles and shop to your heart's content at Whaler's Village in Ka'anapali. Or go on to Lahaina and do some people-watching as you stroll along the sidewalks and enjoy the shops, art galleries and restaurants that line the streets.
"Maui no ka oi"... Maui is the best! There are so many things to do and see, it's almost impossible to do them all. You can fill your days enjoying all that Maui has to offer, and come home to "LaniMaui" ... your heavenly piece of paradise by the sea. |
