Everyone in my group of five loved this apartment. Warm atmosphere, super clean, cozy linens & pillows, well appointed kitchen with all the utensils & dishes we needed. Everything worked! And it's situated in a great quiet walking neighborhood with lots of shops & restaurants close by. Plus Wrigley Field is blocks away & we went to a game. Easy access to all points north & south. Owner provided very good customer service. I'd recommend this to friends & family for sure.

Our group recently stayed for 5 nights in the Shoreline Suite in Wrigleyville and were more than satisfied with everything. We were two couples and two teenage boys. What a great neighbourhood- it was so convenient and we felt totally safe walking around there. We were minutes by foot from grocery stores, restaurants, and two different subway line stations. Just right for us- we walked and took the subway everywhere. The apartment was exactly as shown on the site and included everything we needed for our stay, just as Teri lists on the website. The layout was great and spacious, lots of room for the 6 of us. Teri was more than accommodating, providing us with a no problem late check-in and check-out to accommodate our flight schedules. We also appreciated the binder full of information about local attractions and her favourite places. The place was spotless and immacutately maintained. A real home away from home!

Having recently moved from Chicago I was back for a weekend in the city for a celebration. Chicago Guest House provided such a fun way to stay in the city - in the heart of a great neighborhood - close to shopping and restaurants on Southport - with other neighborhoods and downtown easily accessibly via car, cab, public transit. The entire property was amazing and the Shoreline Suite was so well done - would definitely recommend.

Comfortable place located approximately 4 miles north of the heart of the downtown. Lively neighborhoods around with trendy boutiques, good restaurants and multiple dinners. A good place to stay, especially for families with kids.

My extended family and I shared the top two floors of this building over Thanksgiving weekend, and it was really a great choice! First of all, the apartments were sparkling clean, with coffee, soap and other little amenities thoughtfully provided. The beds were comfortable and there was even a crib available for my baby niece (as well as a high chair, which we didn't use). Teri was always available on the phone, and accurately answered all our questions with friendliness and warmth. For our family, it was a much better--and much less expensive--choice than a hotel.

It was like staying at a cozy home with everything you need in it. The place was clean and beautiful, big enough for four of us to spend three days in and out, without bumping to each other. Very reluxing. Short walking distance to the restaurants, shops and Wrigley Field. The location was close enough to everywhere else we wanted to go to by taxi or train. We would love to go back again.

We spent 4 days at Teri's Guest House in September of 2010. The reservation was made by a friend so we didn't really know what to expect. In one word the place was FANTASTIC. First, it's situated on a lovely and quiet street in historic Wrigleyville, within a very short walk of Wrigley Stadium and countless restaraunts and other entertainment establishments. The house was spotless and had every amenity we could have asked for, including what appeared to be a brand new and fully funcitonal kitchen. Our unit had 3 bedrooms and could easily sleep 6 people. There were 2 separte washroons, (which was a welcome surprise), each with its own shower. The flat was equipped with a modern (and once again spotless) washer and dryer, an iron and ironing board, satellite tv and a good quality stereo system. The interior decore was a beautiful mix of antiques and more modern contemporary furnishings. Aside from a full kitchen there was also a full dining room and a living room with a sofa and s number of arm chairs. The original woodwork of the building had been nicely preserved, as had the hardwood floors and oversized interior wooded doors. The cabinetry, granite countertops and stainless applicances made the kitchen look as if it had been lifted from the pages of a home decorating magazine. Not knowing what to expect, we loaded up our suitcases with soaps, shampoo, towels, etc. Next time we'll known better and will travel 20 pounds lighter. The unit was completely turn key. It was fully stocked with more towels than we could have possibly used. The bathrooms had plenty of soaps, shampoos and hand lotion, and there were hair dryers for use. We will definately stay in one of Teri's Guest Houses on our next trip to Chicago and have no hesitation in recommending Teri to anyone who plans to be in town for a day, a weekend, a week or whatever.

WOW! What a place, its not often that you are really impressed with what you get, but our group was amazed at this vacation home. Location was fantastic being so close to Wrigley Field and the Clark St for fun. You can't describe how great this place is and how well taken care of the premises are right down to the artwork and bedding and linens, all class. 12 Oil and Gas guys show up and want to have an excellent place to call home base and this was bang on, thanks Terri for your effort and letting us hang out at your gorgeous home. See you next year. Highly recommended.

Magnificent property! Exceeded all expectations. Teri provided precise instructions for getting in from the airport (train and bus) and when she let us into the unit we were blown away. Gorgeous woodwork and built-ins. Three bedrooms (comfy beds), two baths (stocked with lotions, soaps and shampoos) compact fully functional kitchen with laundry, large dining room, ample living room with cable TV and stereo and a patio out back with gas grill. Teri is a superb hostess. She took the time to answer our questions and provided a binder of info on the area as well. Located three blocks west of Wrigley, we had easy access to trains (red and brown lines) and buses (you really don't want to drive in Chicago, do you? If you must, Teri has parking). Beautiful, safe neighborhood, good places to eat within short walking distance. The condo was spotless, exceptionally well stocked (enough fluffy towels for twice our number) and we felt right at home in its relaxing atmosphere before we even got our carry-ons unpacked. We will be back on our next visit (go, Cubbies!) and heartily recommend this property.

We had a wonderful vacation and plenty of room for everyone in the family to relax at night. This was so much better than staying at a hotel. We loved all the extra touches, the wonderful coffee, having essentials on hand, etc. We had a wonderful time. Thanks so much!

Our stay at Teri's "Shoreline Suite" was everything we hoped for and more! My five girl friends and myself were greeted immediately by Teri, who is delightful and answered all our questions about parking, the condo, and places to dine . Tango Sur on Southport was one of Teri's restaurant suggestions and I would also highly recommend to anyone who enjoys good steak. The condo is in gorgeous location, beautiful homes up and down a peaceful, tree-lined street. Parking was a breeze, right by the condo and Teri had parking permits ready to go. The condo itself exceeded our expectations! Nicely decorated, bigger than depicted, very clean, extremely comfortable beds, and the kitchen is fully loaded. I was equally impressed that both bathrooms had a surplus of big bath towels for us to use. We also throughly enjoyed the back yard patio/garden. It was lovely place to sit and unwind with a glass of wine and enjoy the early Spring flowers in Chicago. We walked everywhere! Shoreline Suite is perfectly located. We shopped, dined and partook in a wine tasting on Southport. We also walked the incredibly easy three blocks to Wrigley Field for a ballgame. There was never a concern about our safety as we walked these areas. Even Clark St. with it's bustling nightlife was safe and more entertainment than anything else. I cannot say anything but positive comments about The Shoreline Suite. We had a wonderful time. We had everything we needed: good friends, good food, good things to do, and a great place to stay. We were surrounded by all the comforts and beauty of home in one of the best cities I know. I hope to return soon.

I was in a party that used your building, all of the rooms, for our home as we attended a conference. We had 18 people and everyone had their own space to be with their mate. The rooms were decorated beautifully and with charm. The listing was just as described in every way. The layout pictures are great, but seeing the house for real is even better. Each room was spotless, with a fresh smell. The grounds were safe and secure, with parking being taken care of by Terri. We needed one extra space and she took care of it for us. The customer service was outstanding, as we knew exactly what we were getting...and we got more than our money's worth. We had booked 9 hotel rooms, only to cancel them to get this house. What a great decision that was! We went from 6 rooms in a hotel with very little chance of interacting to a house with 10 bedrooms, the ability to fix meals if we wanted, and space enough for everyone to feel at home. We also saved money, as our total bill for the home was less than 6 hotel rooms. This house is close to numerous excellent eating establishments, along with Wrigley field, two subway stations and two grocery centers. We could not have asked for more. Thanks for making this a great business trip, one that you felt was like a vacation. Thanks, Seymour

We had a wonderful experience at he Chicago Guest House. We had a surprise party for our dad, there were six couples total. We slept very comfortably in the nice warm beds. Great amenities and location. There wasn't anything that we wished for while we were there, it was above and beyond our expectations. One thing we especially loved was how quite it was. The location to shops an eating establishments was great, as well as the ease of getting downtown. We stayed in both the Wrigley suite and the Lakeshore suite, which were both amazing. Teri does a fabulous job at making you feel at home. The information book she has for your arrival answers any question you might have. Wonderful! We will definately visit again!

11 of my girlfriends and I recently stayed in the Shoreline and wrigley suites in this adorable brownstone. Everyone was blown away by how hip and comfortable these accomodations are--and the amenities met and exceeded our expections. The bathrooms were awesome, particularly the one with the jacuzzi tub! The kitchen was state-of-the-art and all the decor was trendy and chic. We absolutely loved it. The neighborhood was adorable and perfectly located for trendy shopping and great restaurants. Michigan Ave was a 10-minute cab ride away. Perfect! Hate to tell people about this hidden gem!

My husband and I so enjoyed staying at your apartment. We adjusted so quickly to it and it really felt like our own place. Together with our friends, we adjusted to our new Chicago home like ducks to water and didn't take us long before we were laughing, eating, drinking and cooking together while planning or discussing our days events. The location was great--near the subway, bus and good walk to Trader Joe's.

My family found this apartment to be perfect for our weekend. Teri was waiting for us when we arrived and had been very accommodating in allowing us to arrive at our convenience. The parking facilities were exceptional. The apartment was very cozy but still big enough so that we felt very comfortable with 6 people staying there. There were plenty of plates, flatware, and pots and pans in the kitchen as well as a coffee maker and coffee. There were tons of towels in the bathrooms -- I was amazed that shampoo was furnished! The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms had great room darkening window treatments to allow sleeping in. And the apartment was clean, clean, clean! I just can't say enough to recommend this apartment for a weekend in Chicago and we will definitely be staying at one of Teri's properties again in the future.

I have stayed in two of Teri's properties. This one is my favorite, but all her places are fantastic. There is nowhere better to stay in Chicago. The neighborhood is fantastic and kid friendly. Teri gives a TON of info on everything in the city and you are close to everything. Her homes are immaculate and beautifully decorated. She thinks of everything!
