Built in 2010, this nicely appointed guest house (approximately 425 square feet) sits above a 1,000 square foot garage. Views of Tidelands Park, Coronado Bay and Coronado Bridge. This home provides a unique space to enjoy.
Expansive views, location near San Diego Bay, large back yard with table & chairs, propane grill, bike(s) may be arranged, secure parking, laundry, open & airy modern design, floor to ceiling windows, detached home. (secondary full bath in garage). Cleaning service available. I have a queen (Select Comfort) bed. This is really a studio, but the sleeping area is separated from the living room by a large walnut cabinet that serves as a room divider. Second bathroom is nice but it is in the garage and is ideal for coming back from the beach.
Within 3 blocks of grocery shopping (Albertsons and Boney's), a handful of restaurants (El Fornaio. Peohe's, Candellas, etc.), Coronado Ferry (website hidden) Bay is directly in front of the home about 300 yards and provides a nice walking path along the bay and golf course.
Included with the guest house is my Hummer H3 Golf Cart. It will get you anywhere on the island in style and is easy to park. Most of Coronado is very accessible on foot and or short bike ride. Public transportation is available nearby. Ferry can be taken across San Diego Bay. Approximately 10 minutes to airport.
Unique vacation option to stay in a detached guest home. Much more comfortable and cost efficient than a motel rooms in Coronado. The Marriott Hotel (about 1 block away) has a restaurant, pool, gym, and tennis courts.

About the owner: I'm a real estate broker in Coronado with 25 years of experience. I'm an avid traveler, experienced surfer/ SUP racer, die hard leather worker, and fan or all things 'Americana'. I have recently retired to San Juan del Sur Nicaragua, so I've decided to have others enjoy my place in my absence:)
Why the Owner Chose Coronado: I've owned the property for quite a number of years and purchased it as a long term investment. The main home is single story built in the 50's. The guest home and garage I built in 2010 ish to hold my toys and I found that I loved the simple existence of living in the guest house.
