Warmer months offer swimming, boating, biking, and strolling downtown right from the property, plus hiking and attractions just minutes away. The Cape has four bedrooms and comfortably sleeps eight, plus a cot to accommodate your overnight guest. Hardwood floors and modern conveniences make this a comfortable setting for your summer lake side getaway. The Cape features its own private path down to the lake, and its own stationery dock, and mooring ready for any boat you wish to bring along. A Canoe and kayaks are available for your pleasure.
The cottage is a 1950's charmer built literally on the waters edge. This unique and rare setting provides for an intimate and rustic lake-side experience. The cottage has two bedrooms and comfortably sleeps four, plus there's a cot for your over night guest. A large cedar deck wraps around the side of the cottage taking full advantage of the stunning views down the lake and the summer sunsets on the Presendential Mountain range. The deck offers child gates so the whole family can enjoy being waterside together. There is a stationery dock from the shore, and a swim float to enjoy soaking up the warm summer sun. In addition to a canoe and four kayaks, there’s a mooring ready and waiting for your fishing boat, water-skiing boat, or a sailboat. When its time to eat, dine on fresh Maine lobster at the picnic table and enjoy its striking view down the lake, or get cozy on the cottage porch while you gaze at the spectacular sunsets. Inside you’ll find plenty of cozy spots to settle in with a good book and enjoy the picture window views.
The property is just a quarter of a mile to the quintessential New England village of Bridgton. Here you’ll find amenities such as a theater, library, internet cafe, coffee shop, and boutiques, plus live music nearly every night during the summer at a local music club. There are several convenience stores and a department store for any needs you have to enhance your stay. Just a mile away you’ll find an 18 hole golf course boasting commanding views of the area. |
