Year Purchased: 1992
About the owner: My husband grew up in Paso, and we are both retired teachers having taught in Paso for over 30 years. We raised our girls here and have watched the little cow town of Paso Robles grow into a sophisticated destination point. We, ourselves, enjoy the many wineries, golf, Nacimiento Lake, and concert opportunities this area has to offer and know that you will too.
Why the Owner Chose Paso Robles: We've lived in this area for 40+ years and in this house for 22 years. The guest house (or 'little house' as we call it) was added on about 20 years ago. And although it is an attached house it is totally separate from our home. We love the central coast and always, after a trip away, are glad to be 'home.'
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment: This now guest house was home to an acclaimed master quilter, whose over one hundred unique quilts have decorated the walls at one time or another for over 20 years. This is where she created the beautiful quilts you will see on the walls and the beds. We wanted to honor her works of art and let others enjoy the beauty and the whimsy of her creative self. We know you will enjoy the tranquility of our neighborhood of one acre lots with glimpses of deer that roam the area, quail and their chicks, and the sound of the mourning doves who nest in our yard. You will enjoy sitting on the private deck with a glass of wine or BBQing on the semi private patio. You will also enjoy the many quilts and learning about what inspired their creation. And best of all you will enjoy being in a central location to all things that draw you to the Central Coast and Paso Robles area.
