The gorgeous architecture of it's time, is displayed, yet has all modern day conveniences, we can't live without.
The family room is equipped with a 46" flat screen HDTV. In addition, we offer WI/FI, DVD/CD player, and comfortable seating to enjoy it all.
This five(5)bedroom home sleeps ten (10). Two more can be accommodated on the pull out couch in the living room for a total of 12. On the second floor there are three (3) spacious bedrooms. One with a king size bed, and the other two rooms with queen size beds. These rooms have flat screen televisions and DVD players. Two bedrooms on the third floor have two singles each. Perfect for the younger travelers in your group.
The large deck off the back, is the perfect place for your cookouts. But it is the truly unique
feature of an ultra large backyard. The beautifully manicured lawn and flowers are truly gorgeous. It is completely private and tranquil, having no neighbors on any side. There is plenty of room for a game of Badminton or Bocce Ball, etc.. But that is only the backyard, which has a brick walk that leads you to your own private oasis. Heated swimming pool and waterfall. If there is someone in your party that has a hard time relaxing, this will do the trick.
This home has central air conditioning on the first floor, and new window units for the second and third floors.
We offer beach tags, and have reserved a beach box for your convenience.
There is to be no smoking, and no pets.

The Start of an Amazing, Fun-Filled and Relaxing Annual Tradition!

We rented out the Wedding Cake Cottage as a collective wedding gift for three couples as well as our own family. There were 8 adults and three children under 3 in our group and everything worked out wonderfully. The house is in terrific shape. It's warm, inviting and very quaint. The back yard is the perfect setting for the little ones to play as well as the adults (wiffle ball, football, etc.) We used the grill daily as well as the many other modern amenities in the house. The pool was a little cloudy but still one of the best parts of the house. The heated water was just right to cool you off during the day and night but yet not too hot. We picked up groceries for the duration of our stay the first night at the grocery store a few blocks down the road. The beach is the perfect distance away. Pushing strollers and carrying beach items is not really a hassle at all, so much so that we didn't even use the beach box. The mall area is only a few blocks away as well, which made for some nice outings during the day. The Wedding Cake Cottage really is centric to all things Cape May. Everyone in the group had a truly relaxing and beautiful experience. The trip was so great that everyone has agreed that we're going to make this an annual tradition. The owner, Renee, was terrific throughout the entire process. Very polite, informative and helpful. We couldn't ask for a better person to rent from. We're all looking forward to next year's trip. (TIP: Bring along your condiments to save some money at the grocery store and definitely dine out at the Lobster House at least one night!)

Our two families had a great time at the house. The pedestrian mall was just a few blocks away (and the gelato shop), and the beach right down the road. The kids loved the pool, which was very private and gated for the safety of the little ones. The beach box made our daily trip to the beach very convenient. We were especially pleased that the owners were very responsive to questions, and when we ran out of propane unexpectedly they had it replaced within hours. Overall, a great treat!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home with tons of ammenities. The location is right in town and short walk to the beach. Plus, the gorgeous pool was safely gated and quite a treat after a day at the beach. The owners were helpful and always available. We highly recommend this home if you are lucky to find an available week!

The house was within walking distance to everything..the grocery store, the mall and beach. We also enjoyed the pool and grilling outside on the deck. The house easily accomadated the 10 of us and we would highly reccommend it. We are planning on staying here again, thank you for the use of your beautiful home.

Upon arrival we were first impressed at the beautiful gardens. The house seemed bigger than the pictures showed. The furnishings were so beautiful, each and every room has its own charm. We found the modern conveniences, mixed perfectly with the victorian charm. The location is perfect. only 3 short blocks to the Washington Mall for shopping and dining. and a quick turn up the street to the beach. We cannot wait to go back next year. The house is perfect for couples, or girls weekends or family vacations.
