This is a beautiful,private and spacious three bedroom, two bath Solid Cedar Cabin nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina.
Our home has spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and is convenient to Banner Elk, the ski slopes of Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain, Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mt.,Valle Crusis, and Boone. Features open floor plan with views from every room. Large master suite downstairs w/King Bed, two spacious bedrooms upstairs (queen and 3 twin beds) and full bath. Kitchen and dining area open to oversized rear deck that is totally private. The living area features a large stone fireplace, flat screen TV, and huge picture windows. All rooms are tastefully decorated with an eclectic mix of antiques and art. There are books, games, and toys too! Even a gourmet cook would feel at home in the well stocked kitchen.

Year Purchased: 2002
Tom and Sherry Flowe along with their daughter Tessa and son-in-law David Huffstetler own this special slice of heaven that is nestled between Sugar Mt and Banner Elk. We are a short drive to the beautiful NC Mts (Charlotte area) so we try to visit as often as possible. Our grandkids (Lauren and Grant) absolutely love the cozy cabin where we have an early family Christmas celebration every year and of course the kids love to sled, ski, and play in the snow. Because this is a second family home for us, you will feel "right at home". We have created a family friendly atmosphere and unlike most rentals, our cabin feels like a real home! Many of our guests have continued to visit yearly. Although we are a short 3-5 minute drive to Sugar Mt, restaurants, and all of the amenities the area has to offer, you will feel totally secluded as there are only two other cabins below our's. Our hill is perfect for sledding in the winter, and our oversized rear deck is ideal for a cook-out where you are surrounded by nothing but Mother Nature. We look forward to seeing you soon!!!

We chose to build in Banner Elk because of the ideal location. There are only 2 other cabins on our private road.....our cabin sits on the very top of the hill and we are surrounded by beautiful mountain vistas. You can quickly drive to fabulous restaurants, grocery stores, Sugar Mt, and great little shops.

We just spent two weeks at the cabin. Loved it! It lived up to its billing. It would be hard to replicate morning coffee sitting on the proch watching the sun rise over Beech mountain. Priceless. Sherry and Tom...thanks for sharing your wonderul mountain retreat with us. Also, appreciate the fact your fees are nice and straightforward. Hope to return next summer. This was our anual trip to the Mts to cut a Christmas Tree. Wer have an addition to the family....an 11 month old puppy and Isa loved running up and down the hill and walkjing with us up to the top of the mt. Sat we awoke to snow and it continued all day with about a 5" accumulation, We loved the cabin and the vbiews! Built a fire every day, listened to the James Taylor Christmas CD, and enjoyed breakfast by the fire. Plan to return soon. Thanks for having us and being pet friendly!

What a wonderful place! Great weather, great location, and even got to see a perigee Moon! We enjoyed the Greenway Trail, walking around campus at Lees McRae, trout fishing, and our Lab loved exploring! Thanks so much for everything!
