This is a beautiful,private and spacious three bedroom, two bath Solid Cedar Cabin nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina.
Our home has spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and is convenient to Banner Elk, the ski slopes of Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain, Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mt.,Valle Crusis, and Boone. Attractions and activities for every member of the family are all within easy access of our Sugar Meadows Retreat

Features open floor plan with views from every room. Large master suite downstairs w/King Bed, two spacious bedrooms upstairs (queen and 3 twin beds) and full bath. Kitchen and dining area open to oversized rear deck that is totally private. The living area features a large stone fireplace, flat screen TV, and huge picture windows. All rooms are tastefully decorated with an eclectic mix of antiques and art. There are books, games, and toys too! Even a gourmet cook would feel at home in the well stocked kitchen.
Enjoy the cool breezes and miles of unobstructed views from the rocking chair front porch or relax and cook out on the oversized rear deck. Just minutes from fine restaurants, shopping and sightseeing with the added convenience of all the amenities you would expect in a completely furnished 2,000 square foot home.

I in particular enjoyed the decorator touches and the cabin itsel, not to mention the lovely hill top site and gorgeous mt views. It all contributed to a most pleasent visit. We also really enjoyed thge walk in closet and sizable master bath. We loved it!

We enjoyed our stay the cabin was clean and very nice the only thing we did not like was the road it can be a little ruff on tires but we would go back it is worth the tripRecommended for: Pet owners.

HI Sherry, We loved your house. Thank you so much. Watched the snow fall for a bit and Monday cleared to be a beautiful day. Glad we had an all wheel to make it up the driveway. We cleared up any doggie droppings that we could see. The dogs had a blast with about 4 other dogs on the road. I swept everyday and cleaned kitchen before we left. Once again we enjoyed ourselves. This is the third time we have been here and as always it was wonderful. We stayed during the week of Feb. 18th. and were lucky enough to have snow. We had a blast skiing and had a better time just lounging around with the fire place going and enjoying our time together. I have said it before this is a "Little Slice Of HEAVEN." We will keep coming back as long as we can. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful place with us.Recommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, families with teenagers.

What a wonderful trip this was for us! The beautiful Christmas Tree and all of the other decorations made us feel right at home. About the owner: Tom and Sherry Flowe along with their daughter Tessa and son-in-law David Huffstetler own this special slice of heaven that is nestled between Sugar Mt and Banner Elk. We are a short drive to the beautiful NC Mts (Charlotte area) so we try to visit as often as possible. Our grandkids (Lauren and Grant) absolutely love the cozy cabin where we have an early family Christmas celebration every year and of course the kids love to sled, ski, and play in the snow. Because this is a second family home for us, you will feel 'right at home'. We have created a family friendly atmosphere and unlike most rentals, our cabin feels like a real home! Many of our guests have continued to visit yearly. Although we are a short 3-5 minute drive to Sugar Mt, restaurants, and all of the amenities the area has to offer, you will feel totally secluded as there are only two other cabins below our's. Our hill is perfect for sledding in the winter, and our oversized rear deck is ideal for a cook-out where you are surrounded by nothing but Mother Nature. We look forward to seeing you soon!!!

There are only 2 other cabins on our private road.....our cabin sits on the very top of the hill and we are surrounded by beautiful mountain vistas.
