We just returned from our yearly vacation with college friends (our 15th year!) and this year we included all of our children (ages 7mo - 12 yrs) We could not have found a better home to rent. The house was so spacious and well equiped. The kids loved the pool and hot tub! We were only able to spend a small amount of time on the beach due to the weather but we enjoyed ourselves just the same. We cooked a wonderful lowcountry boil on Saturday using the gorgeous kitchen and ate outside on the balcony taking in the beautiful views. We even spent time watching three deer graze in the marsh across the street. Thank you to Rosemarie for the use of her lovely home and Mary for the excellent job cleaning and preparing for our arrival. The house was immaculate! We hope to return again soon! The DuBose, Coghill, Wilkinson, Jackson families and Dan!

My family and I had a vacation that we will remember the rest of our lives. This beautiful beach house had everything from entertainment for the children to a fully stocked kitchen for the "chefs" in our family. Each bedroom had its on bathroom and private deck.......how nice is that!!! Another thing that we liked was we had two refrigerators that really came in handy. For me the elevator was a must but was also nice for bringing up groceries etc. Even after a three week stay we were sad when the time came to go home. My daughter and I looked on line for over a week trying to find "just the right" house and we did. RoseMarie was delightful to work with and went out of her way to help make this the perfect house for our family and to her " Thank you so much from our entire family"

The house is beautiful (just as pictured) and very accommodating for a large group. The overall decor and furniture is warm and personal...doesn't feel like a 'typical' rental property. As others have stated, everything is provided to keep all ages entertained. We spent a lot of time in the hot tub, since the weather was chilly; it was fantastic! Most importantly, the owner was very easy to work with!

Another enjoyable Labor Day weekend at Wine Not for our familly. This was our second trip and it was as enjoyable as the first. The weather was great and the company even better. We spent our time enjoying the pool with the surround sound; walking out on the beach; taking "naps" out in the hammock; playing a game of putt-putt and eating! Our 4-year old grandson really enjoyed the pool and the puzzles; although 500 pieces was a bit much. As before, our mother (77 years old) said that having the elevator was worth every penny! It was a real plus in getting our luggage and "groceries" from the bottom floor to the top. This really is the place to be when visiting Ocean Isle with your family. Nothing to bring but your clothes and groceries; everything else is provided. So come for a visit - you won't be disappointed. Thanks to Rosemarie and her family/friends for providing a place for others to relax and enjoy.

Our family of 8 adults and 5 children (6 months to 9 years) had a fabulous week here! The layout was pefect for so many people especially these features: lots of hiding places for me (grandma) to get some quiet time with a book while the kids enjoyed the pool & beach, 2 living areas with big screen TV's, large kitchen for group cooking, warm pool was plenty large enough, many places to eat (inside and outside), beautiful views, easy quick walk to the clean beach, large bedrooms with private baths. The elevator was helpful in moving in and out. Favorite activities: golf at Carolina National, antiquing in Southport, lunch at the Cape Fear restaurant on the bay, flying kites on the beach, shell activities and more. It was a great time and we will definitely keep "Wine Not" on our list of favorites. Go with confidence.

The house was better than we could have imagined. When we first walked in all we could say was "WOW". Loved having porch access off all the bedrooms and having a bathroom for each bedroom. The kitchen was wonderful and more spacious than mine. Lots of places to escape if you wanted time alone but great gathering spaces for our family of 13. The grandkids lived in the pool and the beach was so convenient! My 92 year old Dad was with us and the elevator came in handy for him and for unloading groceries. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this house.

Our blended family of 10 just spent a week in this beautiful beach house! Everything was perfect and just as described in the info here. The porches everywhere gave us unlimited views of the ocean and marsh and we ate every meal outside. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking BIG meals and the outdoor space by the private pool was perfect. Beach access was an easy, short walk and not crowded at all. Each couple had their own bedroom & private bath and the house was tastefully decorated in beach decor. Local restaurants were close by and Myrtle Beach a short drive, but we loved the house so much we rarely went anywhere else. Everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable stay at "Wine Not" and will be returning in the future.

This house was an incredible rental. It was extremely nice, clean and spacious. Everyone felt like they had plenty of room and the outside decks provided much more living space (lots of tables and chairs to eat dinner outside). We hosted our pre-wedding BBQ at the house for our 75 guests, all of whom loved the indoor/outdoor stereo system, grill and pool/hot tub. The views were absolutely stunning and even though it is technically a second row property, there is no building in front of it. The owners are very accomodating (letting us rent for only 3 days instead of a while week) and professional, and they have fully stocked the house for everything you might need (including board games!). We will definitely rent this property again and thank you for such a wonderful beach weekend vacation!

Our family of 13 had a great time at "Wine Not." When we arrived all we could do was go through the house and say "wow." The spacious living areas and outside decks allowed us time together without feeling cramped or crowded. The kids (and adults) loved hanging out by the pool and enjoying the surround sound stereo system. Our 76 year old mother really enjoyed having the elevator to travel between floors. Although the men enjoyed a game of golf, we spent our time either at the pool or on the beach. Why anyone would not enjoy a weekend or week at "Wine Not" is beyond me. The owners really have done a great job of making this a place to relax and enjoy. So if you are in need of a comfortable, relaxing place to stay, why not stay at "Wine Not." You'll be glad you did!

Our family of ten ranging from ages 23 - 64, had a wonderful vacation at "Wine Not". The house was absolutely gorgeous and big enough for each couple to have their own private space. The views were breathtaking and the owners went above and beyond in accomodating our last minute needs. You truly made our first ever family vacation one to remember and we will never forget it. Thank you for the wonderful memories. We hope to be back some day.

We stayed at the house the last week of June, 2005. The Rental was absolutely spectacular. All the amenities of home living and more!! A very quiet, relaxing vacation with the ocean on one side and the intercoastel waterway on the other. We fished off the pier in ocean ilse beach and did some ocean fishing using a chartered boat from the giggling mackeral one mile away. We strongly reccommend this rental and look forwrd to renting ourselves again next year. Extremely accommodating to the whole family.
