The "Pond House" is a spacious 1000 square foot. cottage with a full front screened lanai. The tropical landscaping center piece is a tide pond. Light and airy are the full kitchen and living room.
In the main house,there are two tropical carpeted bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed, the other with two singles that can be converted to a king. Both bedrooms open to an outside lanai for sunbathing or star gazing. Additionally a 200 square foot separate guest room (a third bedroom), with outdoor bath house, is available to accommodate a larger group.

Perfect for Our Family Vacation!

Our family of five (two parents, three young adult children) had a wonderful stay at the Pond House. It was well supplied with what we needed and the addition of the guest house meant we could get away from each other when necessary. The nearby town of Pahoa has some good restaurants and also a market (we cooked a lot of our own meals) and other services.The Kapoho Tide Pools are only steps away from the house, so you can have an adventure without driving anywhere. The setting of the house is incredibly beautiful and peaceful. The owners obviously take pride in the property and they were also extremely kind to us when we needed some extra help.
Owner response:It is always our desire to try and help our guests have a relaxing, enjoyable and memorable stay at our 'Pond House" and learn a little more about Hawaii while they are here. We enjoy talking story about Hawaii and what Hawaii has to offer in it's natural beauty and local culture. Whether it be swimming with the tropical fish in the tide pools a few steps away, a guided trip to our nearby orchid and palm nursery, experiencing Volcano National Park activity or just laying back, on the daybed on the screened lanai feeling the tropical breeze, guests have gone home with a smile. We live five minutes away, therefore close enough to be helpful if needed and yet far enough away to give our guests the privacy they want in a cottage by the ocean. Each guest is special to us and it is our pleasure to be able to share our aloha with them. Mahalo (thank you) for thinking of us.

And if you wish the best lodging for your holiday with no stress, beautyful flower arrangements, cute house and the best landlord at hawaii, than you have just book right now!
