Pinehurst site of the 1999 & 2005 US Opens, at fabled Pinehurst #2, recently renovated by the reknown design team Coore and Crenshaw. The USGA will return in 2014 to contest both the US Men & Women Opens. The resort hosts numerous other tournaments, including the North/South Amateurs, the US Kids International, and the Jimmy V.
About 30 other golf courses representing some of the greatest course designers in the game including Ross, Jones, Fazio, Nicklaus, Palmer, Maples, and others are located close by. Arrangements can be made to schedule tee-times for individuals or groups.
Nearby fine dining to choose from include French, Mexican, Greek, Italian, and American foods (eg.; Theo's, Chef Warrens). Shop in the fashionable Pinehurst Village and have tea/crackers on the village edge. Pamper yourself at the Carolina SPA for a soothing and relaxing massage, facial, manicure, pedicure, and workout in the fully equipped gym.
Take a short ride to the stables for riding lessons in the ring or schedule a challenging trail ride among the beautiful Carolina pines. Visit the rather large and recently expanded zoo and museums within short drives of our Pinehurst home.
Fish in Lake Pinehurst (catch and release). Walk among the pines or ride your bike across town as the riding is smooth and the scenery is just lovely. Antiquing, Carolina Potters are located within 25 miles and the Raleigh, Durham Airport is just 70 miles away. Car rental is advised and bring your own bikes, tennis rackets, and golf clubs as the town of Pinehurst boasts a playground of delights.
Sorry, but overnight RV parking is not allowed in the village of Pinehurst.

We just stayed at this lovely home. Four adults were on a golf trip and this property allowed each of us to have our own private bedroom. Well appointed and close to everything. Highly recommended!
