This charming family owned 2000 square foot, single level home offer breathtaking views on the beautiful Red Rocks from the front patio and windows as well as a romantic view on a little stream in the backyard.

The house sits on half an acre of land, nicely landscaped with native plants and beautiful rose bushes in a very quiet neighborhood near golf, tennis court and conference center with all resort amenities (Hilton).
The bright and open living room with cedar cathedral ceiling, fireplace and library, is equipped with two comfortable sofas and a reading corner. The library offers a selection of movies, CD's, books, hiking books, regional information, as well as games for adults and children (chess, sorry, etc..). A TV/VCR is also available.
The living room opens to an outside wood deck with built-in seating and patio furniture facing a beautiful view of the Red Rocks. The front deck is having a large patio dining table with 6 chairs as well as two lounge chairs for relaxation. This is also a great place to see the stars at night as the sky over Sedona is very clear.
The "u" shaped kitchen is sunny with a herb garden window opening to the view of the red rocks. There are full amenities (microwaves oven, gas cooktops burners, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster) as well as basic staples like tea, coffee, sugar, salt and spices, olive oil, etc, .. for when you just arrive.
A pass through with privacy doors open into the dining room. The kitchen open to a utility room equipped with washer and dryer.
The large Queen Master Bedroom with sitting area, walk in closet and French doors opening to the rose garden. An office corner is available for writting your postcards. The master bath has a large shower.
The Blue Queen Bedroom is comfortable and bright with blue toned linens.
The third bedroom will be appealing to the younger ones with his twin bunkbed and soft fleece comforters, leaving a nice floor space for playing and has a comfortable chair ready for the story-time teller.
The second bathroom with a bathtub, easily accessible from the living room, is located between the second and twin bunkbed bedroom.
All beds, mattresses and linens are new. Towels are provided.
The house can accomodate up to 6 persons (extra children on air mattress: please inquire)
Red Rock Retreat is located in the quiet village of Oak Creek. The distance to Sedona downtown (the"Y") is about 4 miles.
It is useless to give an approximate driving time as you will stop every two minutes to admire the view points, which are numerous or stop to discover a new hiking trail. Taking the road 179 to Sedona will bring you to Bell Rock first with an open panorama on Courthouse butte and Castle Rock.
Restaurants, Movie rental, ice cream shop/cyber cafe (i-scream) and grocery store as well as a shopping outlet are available in the Village.
Sedona downtown has many more restaurants and shopping choices to suit your taste.
If you prefer a more intimate visit to the Sedona area, continue on the path of Verde Valley school Road, turning left from Deer Pass drive toward the Verde Valley School (renown boarding school). As you continue along the dirt road after passing the school, you will reach Oak Creek and discover the most beautiful view Sedona has to offer on Cathedral Rock (follow the link to the owner's pictures).
The village of Oak Creek is home to two golf country clubs (Oakcreek CC and Canyon Mesa CC) as well as a resort with conference accomodation (Hilton Sedona)
Near Oak Creek country club you will find public tennis courts and horseshoes game as well as a very well equipped playground.The area is safe for children to bike or walk to the playground.
