Enjoy one of the South's most beautiful lakes while staying in our lakefront rental, The Lighthouse. The Lighthouse is a second floor dwelling that has two levels. On the main level are the living room, which has a 12 foot glass door lending a nice lake view, and a big screen TV; a well-stocked kitchen with a dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker, and microwave; one bedroom with a TV and king-size bed; one bedroom with a queen-size bed; and a split bath with a whirlpool tub. There is a pull-out single bed in the living room. A washer/dryer room is just outside the bathroom.
Upstairs you will find our "lighthouse," an octagon-shaped room with ample windows for a spectacular panoramic view of the lake. Also on this level is a children’s room with twin beds, a TV and DVD player, a lego table, books, and games.
The Lighthouse boasts approximately 1350 square feet of living space and also has a deck with glass "rails" which give an unobstructed view of the lake. The deck is equipped with a gas grill, table, chairs, and umbrella.
The Lighthouse is adjacent to our home. We have a large dock for your private use, complete with chairs, lounge chairs, table, umbrella, small refrigerator, ladder and a covered boat slip. Also available are a canoe and a five person paddle boat. Young and old alike will enjoy excellent blue gill fishing right from the dock. The property is located very close to Sequoyah Marina; Stardust Marina is a short boat ride away. Both marinas offer services including boat and personal watercraft rental, boat launch, gasoline and other boating supplies, and excellent restaurants which feature special events like Sequoyah’s famous Friday Night Wings and Corona.
Norris Lake is a few steps across the lawn. The first lake built by the Tennessee Valley Authority, Norris offers over 800 miles of shoreline, much of which is undeveloped. The clean, sparkling waters make it one of the South’s most desirable recreational lakes.
Nearby you will also find Anderson County Park, Norris Dam State Park, and Norris Watershed, which is renowned for its mountain bike trails. The Museum of Appalachia and the Lenoir Museum in nearby Norris offer a unique look into the area’s past.

The fun does not stop with the lake - Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Big South Fork National Recreation Area, and the University of Tennessee (think football!)are all a short drive. We hope you will come experience a wonderful, relaxing stay in our new lakeside vacation home, The Lighthouse. |
