This cozy beach cottage is PERFECT FOR A FAMILY WITH CHILDREN! It is nestled among other cottages midway in the oceanblock (#5 Redefer Court, on the right hand side.) On quiet nights you can hear the surf from the bedroom windows. The house is equipped with books, games, puzzles and videotapes for all ages.
Two bedrooms include one with a double bed and one with a bunk bed combination: full-size on the bottom and twin on the top. Living room also includes a queen-size sleep sofa for up to 2 guests.
Living room/dining room kitchen is a wonderful open space plan with partial cathedral ceiling and skylights. Master bedroom also has skylight.
It is about a mile to the town of Rehoboth, which has many attractions including the boardwalk and Funland for kids. The Jolley Trolley runs every 10-15 minutes if the walk is too far. Fast food and sit down restaurants, as well as shops and activities, are available within steps in Dewey Beach.
Our kids, now 13 and 17, have LOVED their vacations here since they were babies. It's a great place for a beach getaway!
We regret that we cannot rent to groups - no exceptions.
Homeowners Association also prohibits pets on premises for tenants - no exceptions.
For the past few years, we have donated 100% of the rental income to Matthew 25:40, our family's mercy ministry to the Lord's beloved poor in Juarez and Palomas, Mexico. This money has allowed us to build homes for two families; pay for, or assist in the cost of, both acute and chronic medical care needs of 10-12 people; purchase legal assistance for someone in forced labor bondage; provide over 150 people with one week of food; provide over 500 people with warm coats, sweaters and blankets to comfort them in the freezing winter nights; and to visit and bring cheer to the residents of orphanages, children's shelters, hospitals, the asylum for the mentally ill, and an AIDS hospice.

Reservations prior to 4/30/08: 1/3 non-refundable rental deposit,by personal check or credit card, with balance due by 4/30/08. Fifty percent of the final payment (1/3 of the rental) is refundable up to 30 days prior to rental date.
Reservations 5/1/08-6/15/08: payment due in full at time of reservation, by personal check or credit card. One-third of rental is refundable up to 30 days prior to rental date.
Reservations after 6/15/08: payment due in full at time of reservation by credit card only. One-third of rental is refundable up to 30 days prior to rental date.
