The "Cozy"!
An urban oasis bordering a lush greenbelt with Douglas Fir trees, a gently burbling spring-fed creek, and stands of bamboo.
City weary Seattlites and out-of-towners alike will love the absolute quiet of this North Beach brick cottage built in 1945. All original built-ins and details will bring you back to more innocent times, while a stroll to the private beach just two blocks away will re-oxygenate body and soul. It features one bedroom, one full bath, living and dining areas, and a kitchen. Washer and dryer are in the cottage. It can sleep six.
During low tide, you can walk to the west to Golden Gardens State Park, and Carkeek Park to the northeast.
Golden Gardens is a fun-filled beach, with recreation of all kinds, picnic grounds, sunbathing and volleyball, and views of windsurfers and sailboats. Carkeek Park is a wilderness with nature walks, huge play areas, trails, and wildlife habitat.
The Cozy Shack is close to quintessential Seattle attractions such as the Shilshole Marina, Ray’s Boat House, and Historic Ballard. One block from a bus line that is 25 minutes to downtown, you can still get your city fix stress-free. An organic coffee shop and a Mexican restaurant are also in the North Beach neighborhood. Downtown Ballard, with a multitude of shopping and entertainment options, is a seven minute drive away.
Our two cats, Princess & Fella, and our Pomeranian, Henry, will be happy to have the company.
So, what are you waiting for?
