Just a few steps from our English owned luxury apartment and you are on the beach, a short walk from Sanibel's famous fishing pier. You will see small boats, pelicans and dolphins in the bay.

Recently refurbished with new furniture you will love the roominess and level of luxury that we offer. You have a view of the sea from all bedrooms with generous wardrobe space. The pool area is delightful.The pool is heated and there are adult only times twice a day. We have never seen it crowded.

                            Keith, We had the most wonderful time and the apartment was amazing. I went fishing everyday. The shops were fantastic. We'll come again and hope were fortunate enough to get this apartment again. We were steps from the beach and we walked from the gulf side to the other side for fun and then walked around the peninsula to the other side. Thanks so much for allowing us to use your place for our vacation. A spotless, quiet, and spacious place. Thanks again, Tom

                            Nice clean condo in good location. Kitchen could have been better equipped and there was a problem with the heater. When it turned on it smelled like there had been a fire in the condo. There were no fire extinguishers in the condo which was surprising.

                            Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

                            Owner response: Hello Cathryn, Oh dear my first less than perfect review but I guess its good that you are honest, the fire extinguisher is kept in the laundry room to the left of the washer and drier and they come to check it every year, the agents insist on this, are you sure it was missing? I have put a picture of it in the photo section. I will get a new carving set for the kitchen. The heater was probably being run for the first time that year and dust had accumulated on the elements. We used it in February when we were there. One hopes not to need the heater in Sanibel :) I am keen to make sure that nobody wants for anything in the unit and please feel free to ask the agents for anything you are short of no matter how small.                             Although the condo is not on the gulf side, it is not a long walk and the gulf is easily accessible. The condo was spacious and very well equipped. The third bedroom was an added bonus when our grandkids came for a few days. This was our first time in this particular condo and we were very satisfied. We will probably rent it again in the future if it is available.

                            We stayed at Keith's condo the summer of 2012 and had a wonderful time. We thought the cost was very reasonable, plus it was the low season for most of the rentals on Sanibel, which may it even more attractive. The listing description was accurate and the condo itself was very nice. There were five of us and there was plenty of room for everyone. The condo was in a perfect location to walk to the beaches. We rented bikes while we were there (they even delivered them) and one of the highlights of our trip was biking from the condo to Captiva and back. Just two crazy old people. You're also close to the "world's best breakfast". :) We've been fortunate to come to Sanibel over the years and have always enjoyed it. We'd certainly recommend this condo and hopefully we can get back there again in the near future.

                            Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

                            We have stayed in the condo three times and have booked again for a fourth. The condo is beautifully furnished to a high standard, it is bright and clean. It is very well equiped with everything you need for a fantastic vacation. It is beautifully located close to the beach and the wonderful pier we saw dolphins, turtles and manatee We just love it. We have spent lots of time on the island walking ,fishing and relaxing everyone is warm and friendly. The island cow is a good family restaurant. Take the opportunity to go out on the sanibel thriller its alovely trip out and additionally informs you about the history of the island. I wold recommend the condo to anyone who wants a fantastic holiday in wonderful condo in beautiful location.10 out of 10

                            Our first time at this property. Over the last 25 years we have stayed at four different locations considered by some as the premier complexes on Sanibel and they were all very nice,however our recent stay at Lighthouse Point not only matched those other locations it exceded all of them. This condo is very very nice [large-clean-well maintained-all pictures are accurate].Sanibel offers [wildlife everywhere-shelling everywhere-fishing-great beaches-biking on island bike paths and my favorite wonderful restaurants],Did I mention fantastic weather. WOW can't wait to return to paradise.

                            Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, sightseeing, adventure seekers.

                            We have stayed at Lighthouse Point three times, we always look forward to returning.The property is very well maintained and always spotless. The management company are also first class.The description and photo's are very accurate The owners are always happy to help in answering anything you want to know.I would definately recommend this property.The island is great for cycling as there are cycle paths everywhere. The wildlife is fantastic, the fishing is great you never know what you are going to catch next. The beaches are full of beautiful shells.There are lots of great restaurants we love Grandma Dots and Lazy Flamingo. What more can we say ,can't wait for our next trip.

                            Our family has been staying at Keith & Linda's condo for 4 years now. It's large, airy, well-stocked and beautifully furnished. Three large bedrooms, a kitchen large enough to cook in and plenty of table space. Our favorite room is the den because of the view and the comfy furniture. There is a bay view and the gulf beach is right around the corner. The East End is definately quiet but not too far away! The pool is just the right size and never crowded. Their place can't be beat.

                            Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

                          About the owner: Hello We are Keith and Linda Hudson, we live in Leicester, United Kingdom. We are retired and have a horse livery stables over here. Linda likes to ride and I like to fish and restore classic cars. in the winter we love to come to Sanibel to escape the cold weather. Every year we try to make an improvement to the unit, this keeps it in top condition, last year we fitted new carpets throughout.

                          We chose Lighthouse Point because we like the quiet East End. It is convenient for getting on and off the island, and the fishing pier is nearby. We also liked the spaciousness of these units.
