When you enter this brand new cabin (finished Jan. 2005), your spirits will be lifted as you take in the surrounding mountain views through the large windows of the great room. After a day of antique shopping, golfing, fishing, or sightseeing, enjoy the sunset over the mountains from the back porch on a cozy rocking chair.
Wrap-around porches enable you to enjoy views from many vantage points. Each season has a unique beauty worth experiencing. The spring brings the blooming dogwood trees and wildflowers to life.
The lazy summers are cool and especially enjoyable on the back porch where you can see hundreds of fireflies light up the back woods. The fall foliage is nothing less than spectacular.
Winters are mild and occasionally bring snow making it a perfect time to snuggle and take in the warmth of the fireplace. For all the things to do and places to see in this part of the North Carolina mountains, perhaps its greatest appeal is you can choose to do nothing at all in the comfort of this cozy and relaxing home away from home that will help you leave all your troubles behind.

Owner's Map of Lake Lure
We are a family of four, married for 25 years with two sons. Oldest is 22 and Coast Guard bound - starts boot camp in October. Other son is 17, starting senior year of high school. Actually, we have another child - of the four legged kind.. Roxy is our 90 lb Rhodesian Ridgeback.
