  we've spent 3 delightful seasons here & may well return in the future-we'd be back next year,but have decided that we should see some other part of fl.-I hope we don't regret it-there is a large living/dining area asuperb working kitchen with all necessary equipment,& a large adjoining area with plenty of room for a computer station(use the owner's computer or bring your own & use their wi-fi)-huge lanai & pool area with the appropriate furnishing-south facing,private,screened by a small wilderness area & aview of the 5th hole of the golf courrse-the newly sodded lawn is huge -the large driveway easily acommadated the large vehicles of both couples (my wife & I,my sister &brother in law)-we kept our 4 bicycles,golf clubs,&tennis rackets in the large double garage,&had plenty of room left over-the bedroom facilities were excellent,especially the master suite-in addition to the golf course on which the home is located(sun air),there are 3 excellent courses within 20 min.-oakwood in lake wales($17 for 9,$32 for18 including cart &taxes);& 2 courses with moderately higher rates withion the confines of haines city,grenelefe(2 courses) & diamondback-a bit of driving takes you to multiple other course in the area-the Lake Region country club in the adjoining town of lake hamilton,the site of a professional ladies futures tour tournament each mar., offers seasonal memberships-free tennis is available on 4 little used courts in nearby lake wales at beautiful crystal lake park-which also has shuffleboard & along hiking/biking trail around the lake-more extensive biking is available (20 or more miles each) on 8 paved biking trails in & around orlando,the "cadillac" of which is the west orange trail beginning at killarney(oakland),just west of orlando-we've ridden it many times,commonly stopping for lunch at one of the many eateries along the trail in winter garden(the trail runs through the downtown) -dinners are available within walking distance of the home at the sun air golf club-the neighboring town of winter garden has all of the large chains(olive garden,red lobster,carabbas,outback,etc.) &many other restaurants -our favorite place for a special evening out is Le coq au vin,4800 s. orange ave. in south orlando-the area abounds with lakes-the home is located a stone's throw from huge lake pierce-many other lakes are nearby - fishing & boating are probably available,but we had too many other things to do-disney world is about 1/2 hr. away -wonderful place

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  After a long and cold winter it was wonderful to come to warm and sunny Florida. The house is situated in a very quiet neighborhood. Stores are about 15-20 minutes drive away and it takes between 45-60 minutes to get to the Disney Parks. The house is very spacious, clean and well equipped! A very large kitchen with lots of appliances. There are plenty of towels which we appreciated a lot. The master bedroom is big with a comfortable bed and a connecting bathroom with a big walk in shower. The pool area is also very spacious with lots of sitting space and a large pool. It's lying south so there is sun all day. Communication with the owner has been very good. She provided us with all the information we needed and was quick in responding to e-mails. We definitely recommend this beautiful house to anyone who wants to stay in a quiet and enjoyable area. You will really leave relaxed and happy!

  We have just returned home to the cold Canadian winters from an awesome vacation in Florida. We had searched for some time looking for a rural setting with a private heated pool area near Legoland to spend a month. The Brick House met all our requirements with no disappointments. The house is very spacious and well equipped with everything you would need. A barbequed dinner on the lanai was always a plus in this extremely tranquil neighborhood. Our sons golfed at two nearby golf courses (Diamond Back and Grenelefe) which was 10 min. from the villa. Any questions or concerns you may have are answered quickly by the owner or the property management. Restaurants and shopping were about 15 minutes away and easy to get to with minimal traffic. Cherry Pockets is a local bar/grill where 20 of our friends joined us for dinner with lots of laughter. The Port is also a nice restaurant on Lake Hatchineha where we enjoyed a couple dinners. If your children enjoy building with legos Legoland is a must! We spent a day at the park and the grandparents as well as the children had a fantastic time. Although the water park at Legoland was not yet open for the season there was lots to see and do and don't leave the park without trying the apple fries! Our vacation was a great experience thanks to the owners of this villa. We would recommend this to anyone who enjoys the simplicity of a quiet setting after an active day or just a day of relaxing in the large pool area. The Grondin's Amherstburg, Ontario

  We stayed for 5 weeks the house is very peaceful and quiet. Stores are about fifteen minutes away.The owners and property manager are very easy to deal with from your first enquiry until you your holiday is over . We would HIGHLY recommend this house for a short or long stay. Everything was better than the listings say. Thanks for renting your home.

  Hallo allemaal, Wij hebben van 25 november tot 7 december deze villa gehuurd. Toen wij de voordeur opendeden vielen onze monden open van verbazing. Wat een " waanzinnig" mooie villa. Van alle comfort voorzien. Van theelepel tot vaatwasser, van opgemaakte bedden tot een whirlpool. Wauw, wat een ontzettend gave villa. Ik kan deze villa aan iedereen aanbevelen. De villa ligt redelijk centraal ten opzichte van de Disney parken en de outlet malls. Hooguit een uurtje rijden. Het wijkje waarin de villa ligt is vrij rustig en je hebt een hoop privacy. Je hoeft ook niet ver te rijden voor je boodschappen en als je uit eten wilt kunnen wij zeer zeker " Cherry Pocket" aanbevelen. Wat kan je hier lekker eten voor niet al teveel geld. Al met al zeker een aanrader. Dus als U een villa wilt huren kunnen wij deze van harte aanbevelen. Wij hopen in de toekomst er snel weer terug te keren. Kathy van Polanen

Gezien de talrijke engelse reacties van mijn kant, zal ik het nu ook speciaal voor u, geïnteresseerde Nederlanders in het Nederlands doen.. Het is fijn dat we erin slagen ook andere te laten genieten van onze prachtige villa en zijn omgeving.. Het is door de ligging geen typische vakantievilla wat het extra aantrekkelijk maakt. Door de ruimte om de villa is er geen (geluids) overlast van andere vakantiegangers die tot laat gebruik maken van het zwembad. Daarbij is de beleving aantrekkelijk als je van rust en ruimte houdt.. Met LegoLand Florida op 15 miles, tien autominuten hebben we een groot attractiepark om de hoek. Overigens is ook WDW prima te bereiken..Daarbij een groot natuurpark waar de natuur tot het oog kijkt reikt, dat is toch wel vrij uitzonderlijk als je het wildlife zo dichtbij tot je beschikking kan hebben. Verder ben ik zelf zeer gecharmeerd van Bok Tower Gardens, echt een spirituele beleving op zich en niet meer dan 15 autominuten rijden.. Ook is er uitzonderlijk goed te golfen.. Wij gaan graag naar Lake Bess waar je voor weinig, echt prima kan golfen.. En dan natuurlijk het weer, dat nergens te evenaren is.. En daar kan het zwembad dan weer een prachtige invulling bieden, het is groot en inderdaad daarbij beschikt u ook een jacuzzi.. Overigens is het ook prachtig om naar Lake Eva Community Park te gaan, waar je kunt picknicken en waar er voor kinderen van alle leeftijden gratis speeltuinen zijn. Ik vind het leuk dat er aandacht geschonken is aan Cherry Pocket in de aanbeveling hierboven, echt een plaats waar de 'locals go' zoals dat genoemd wordt. U leest het al, ik ben nog steeds enthousiast.. Bent u dat na het lezen van deze reactie op bovenstaande aanbeveling ook, dan bent u van harte welkom!! Tot ziens..

  We stayed here the middle of December and were pleasantly surprised with the beauty and spaciousness of the home. The pictures are not worthy of the home...the home is much more luxurious than the pictures represent. It is very spacious with all accommodations necessary for a large family of six, such as ours. We had wonderful communication with owner throughout our whole experience. The owners are very alert and helpful. They truly go above and beyond what is expected of them. The home itself is gorgeous, clean, and again, very spacious! We enjoyed our time there very much and the children were ecstatic about the large heated pool. Yes, swimming was wonderful even in December due to the heat of the warm pool! Unlike a hotel, there was an abundance of towels and the bathrooms were luxurious (master), great water pressure and double shower heads as well as a full size garden tub. We never ran out of hot water, even with a family of our size and the a/c in the home kept everything extremely comfortable. Our trip to Lego Land was outstanding and so very convenient to the home as well as to family in the Tampa area. Every restaurant, grocery and shopping center imaginable was within fifteen minutes of the home! The community itself though is so quiet and peaceful, a wonderful retreat from the busyness of Orlando, etc.. We hope to stay again soon and would heartily recommend this home to anyone considering an enjoyable stay in Florida. Thank you again!

  We enjoyed our holiday in this villa very much. First of all there is the positive and reliable contact with the owner. You do not want to struggle traveling with a small child 1000's of miles away from home. The information received was elaborated and complete, the financial transaction was trustworthy and all things were as promised. The house is beautifull and beautifully situated. It is large, whit a lot of comfort and is very well equiped. The distance to the parks is just enough not to annoy but to leave the busy streeds of Orlando behind you for some good relaxing and sleeping. Our vacation in Orlando was nearly perfect, this house contributed to that for a major part.   Just a little note to say that we loved our stay in this villa. Everyone had a relaxing time. The villa had everything you need. It is large, spacious and very clean. A comprehensive guide provided by the owners has everything you need to know about the local attractions. I would recommend this to anyone. We will definately be returning.

  We stayed at the villa for 2 weeks wich was too short! We had a great time in a peaceful area. Behind the villa is a spacious and green view where I made some nice pictures of some kind of an eagle which was wonderful to see in our own back yard! We were surprised of the spacious villa and pool, our 5 year old yelled 'WOW, this house is BIG, and this POOL....WOWIE, let's go swim right NOW". The villa is wel equipped in particular the kitchen (the only thing we missed was a not sticky baking pan). Alexia and Minno are very helpfull with all information you need. Also when we had questions during the storm Isaac they were very helpfull! . We also went to Disney and Universal which is an hour drive but never boring in Florida. Legoland is very near and also very nice to go with little kids. We have been to Winter of the movie Dolphin Tale in Clearwater beach but that was a long drive but awsome to be there. Love to go again as there are many things to do and to see. Nearby is Lake Eva which is also very nice! Love to go back and we can recommend to guests of all ages!   This villa was in a very quiet location, only about 40 mins drive from all the Disney Parks and 15 mins drive from the new Legoland. The villa was very well equiped, clean,exceptionally well furnished and very comfortable. The master bedroom and en-suite were spacious and just great. The pool was easily accessed through the lounge and was also fantastic. It was completely enclosed by a fine mesh which stopped all those nasty little bugs out but could still enjoy the Florida sunshine. The owners were great, giving full details of the facilities, the local area, shopping and the directions were spot on. We would and will definately return to this villa, we were completely relaxed there and had a great holiday.
