My husband and I live in Vancouver, Canada and love to drive one and half hours to our Whistler Home. We love the location surrounded by snowy white mountains year round and water views from the lake. Just 2 minutes drive to the village yet surrounded by nature and right on the Golf Course. We often go to the Restaurant at the Club House and watch the sea planes come in on the lake from downtown Vancouver right at the Golf Course. It is a home away from home and we have tried to have everything we have at home right here at our Whistler place. High speed wyfi internet service and most other amenities.
Why the Owner Chose Other Whistler Properties
We chose our Whistler home because of the location being so close to the Village (2 minutes drive) yet surrounded by nature and so quiet. Lovely walks around the lake, golf and the restaurant in a fabulous surrounding with a view of the lake and the sea planes to watch as we dined in the restaurant. We also chose this paticular property for it's layout. 3 bedrooms upstairs, living room, dining room and a large kitchen on the main floor and also a den when our son's friends came over they could have their own space.

We enjoy the fabulous facility Meadow Park Sports Centre www.whistler.ca or call 604 935 PLAY (7529)just across the street. You can swim in an olympic sized pool and one for the kiddies too, work out in a world class gym, aerobics,ice skating, racquet courts. The River of Golden Dreams run through there and there are tennis courts and childrens play sets, BBQ areas with tables to picnic if you wish. We also enjoy horseback riding next door and boat rentals all very close by (within 5 minutes). Everything is at your fingertips, thats the uniqueness.
