Nice getaway home for a family or a group of friends any time of the year. The fall is breath-taking, summer relaxing and the winter is fresh and crisp. Pick your season; there is always something to do at or nearby Jack Frost/Big Boulder Mountains.
This mountain house features two bedrooms, one up and one down. The downstairs bedroom features a queen size bed, private bath and access to the hot tub room. The hot tub room, a perfect place to relax the tired body after a day on the slopes.
The upstairs bedroom features a king size bed. There is another full bath on the second floor along with a loft where there are two single beds and a sofa. The sitting room downstairs has a stone fireplace to create a warm cozy atmosphere which is great for when you come in from a wintery outdoor day.
Sit out on the front deck or on the screened in porch and relax and listen to the wildlife, or watch the deer as they wander the village and pond area.
Located on Jack Frost Mountain, so skiing and tubing are within minutes, a short walk distance to the the slopes and lifts. During the spring, summer and fall you can enjoy the hiking trails around Jack Frost or visit Hickory Run State Park's famous Boulder Field and waterfalls for some exercise and breathtaking scenery. Best of all, you can relax by a fire or sit on the deck, and get away from it all in a spectacular mountain setting.

We stayed here during the 2008-2009 ski season. It was clean and well-appointed. The wifi was a real convenience too. One warning - it is not really walking distance from the slopes.
Owner response:There is a walking trail out onto slope but it is 2 village blocks to this trail and with equipment good for young, but not what I would do with ski boots on and carrying skis. It is a two minute ride to the lodge though and parking lots.
