The Ivy was a great get-away cottage! I loved how spotless and comfortable it was. The most difficult decision was to sit by the fireplace and chat with a friend or to relax on the porch and listen to the falling rain. I was there for on overnight stay with gal-pals, and the Ivy cottage was an excellent destination. Thanks!

Beautiful cottage and unique one-of-a-kind decor that we found simply delightful. The fireplace is amazing and the setting is spectacular. Super clean! Dealing with the Owner is a pleasure! This is the perfect place to get away from it all yet only be a few minutes to town. Main Street shopping is fun and restaurants are plentiful, although we cooked a number of meals at the cottage and found everything we needed. You'll be glad you chose this cottage and we'll be back!

Ivy Cottage was the perfect retreat for our getaway from the big city. It was nice to come "home" every day after seeing the sites and hiking to the hot tub. The cottage was well appointed and extremely clean. We will definitely return and hope to stay here again!

We fell in love with the Ivy Cottage! It was private and very charming. The decor was very well done and reminded us of something off HGTV! The king bed was turned down when we arrived and the sheets were supreme! We slept in everyday. Well done and highly recommended to all.

Website is very misleading. Inadequate heat, cold night. Had a beautiful wood burning fireplace but failed to tell us that we needed to bring our own firewood. Hot tub did not work. Hot water ran out half way through my bath. We had called the owner the night before to discuss the bad reviews on tripadvisor and she had reassured us all was well. A well need get away turned into a cold, very expensive, disappointing evening. Booked for two nights, owner was kind enough to refund second night.
Owner response:We take great pride in our cottage and do everything possible to make sure our guests are happy. Our website states that guests need to bring their own firewood. When we found out guest had not brought any, we took them some for free. They decided to leave early and we refunded the second night. It was unseasonably cold that weekend throughout the Southeast. Unfortunately, we cannot control the weather. We love our guests and it shows. Please see other reviews.

Highly recommend to anyone! We were plesantly surprised at how much we immediately felt at home. I couldn't have thought of one thing to make this cottage more comfortable. We arrived to celtic music playing, a nice touch for us old Irish people and we loved the mints on the pillows. I wish we could have stayed longer. I'm sure we will be back.

Thank you for a relaxing couple of days here at the Ivy Cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed the pease and quiet. It was just what we needed. Hope the next family enjoys it as much as we did. Downtown Hendersonville was great also. Quaint shops and great food! We look forward to coming back again! James and Casy

We spent a week at Cranmore Cottages' Ivy Cottage. It was the perfect mountain retreat about 10 minutes from downtown. The cottage was very nicly decorated and very clean. The hot tub was nice after day long hikes in the mountains. We cooked in every night and slept in most days. It was so peaceful. Heather was a tremendous help in helping us plan what to do. The cottages are family owned and operated too, which gives a personal touch. We look forward to returning!

The Ivy Cottage was everything we hoped for and more for our honeymoon. We loved the hot tub on the porch it was very peaceful and private. The cottage was very cozy and decorated beautifully. We visited downtown Hendersonville and Asheville's Biltmore Estate. We also hiked to Triple Falls and High Falls. We would recommend this cottage to anyone! We will be back.

We really enjoyed ringing in the new year in your lovely cottage in the woods! Felt very private and the views are gorgeous... just what we wanted for some time away. The knotty pine against the stone fireplace makes for a great rustic mountain retreat while the nice touches like the hot tub add a sense of luxury. Loved reading in the sitting area of the violet room & seeing the sun filter through the ivy-covered windows. We hope to make a tradition of this.

We had such a wonderful time here. We went to Chimney Rock, drove the Blue Ridge Parkway, visited and shopped Asheville, Greenville and downtown Hendersonville. We also went whitewater rafting. That was fun! We have enjoyed the hot tub many a nights and even in the day and the fireplace provided a romantic feel. Hope we can come back real soon! Lisa and Richard

My husband and I stayed at the Ivy alone for the first night for our anniversary and our seven children joined us the second night. It was so lovely and private for our time together and had plenty of games or exploring to keep the children happy when they arrived. Thanks Sandy, Barbara, Dwight and Joe for making our experience at the Ivy so nice. We really appreciated the special touches like fresh flowers, coffee, and muffins for our anniversary.
