Welcome to paradise at our duplex Lagoon Sunset. Enjoy our custom gunite pool, and pier on the lagoon, while you escape the heat or watch the sunset. Each side sleeps up to 8. Rent one or both.

Make this your home away from home. Nicely furnished, spacious and comfortable. This house in the heart of Gulf Shores has everything you need for a short or long stay.

Located on Little Lagoon...a 9 mile long body of water that opens to the gulf. Close to the center of Gulf Shores, this duplex is convenient to everything yet located on a quiet, peaceful street.

Three plus bedrooms, either 2 1/2 or 3 1/2 baths plus queen sleeper sofa. Each duplex sleeps up to 8--rent one or both. Master bedroom has its own balcony overlooking water. Fully equipped kitchen, your own laundry for each side, all linens provided. Everything you need for home away from home. The main floor is very open so you can see the water from the kitchen, dining area and living area. Each unit has beautiful lagoon views and a private screened porch.

Each unit has two upstairs bedrooms plus a sleeper sofa in the living room on the main level. Each side has also has a ground floor queen bedroom, a separate sitting room with a twin bed, and a full bath. You'll also find large covered porches with hammocks, grills and seating.

Walk to The Original Oyster House and a range of other local favorite restaurants for dinner or walk over to Down Under Dive Shop to rent kayaks. Or you can just stay home and enjoy wonderful water and sunset views from the large deck or the balconies off the living rooms or master bedrooms.

We are also walking distance to Waterville USA, The Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo which was the subject of the Animal Planet television series The Little Zoo That Could, and to Zooland Putt-Putt (all you can play for $5).

Fish for flounder, speckled trout, croakers or drop crab traps from the beach in the backyard. Bike to the beach or jet ski right from the back of the house out to the Gulf. Close to restaurants and shopping, many within walking distance.

Reservations are weekly running Saturday-Saturday. Great location, great views, come see us!

  • Fantastic vacation spot! Our family rented both sides in June of this year. It was the first time we went on vacation with our daughters, son-in-laws and five granchildren. We were very pleased with the house and the location. The pool was a wonderful addition and a great passtime for the kids. It is so stressful to reserve a vacation spot over the internet now a days with all the scams out there, so it was so wonderful to have everything go as planned. The beaches are so clean and a wonderful place for families. We definitely will come back again!!!

  • We came to Lagoon Sunset in June 2009 and rented both sides. We had a big group of family and friends. We all had a blast and loved the place! It was very nice and close to everything in Gulf Shores! The new private pool pool was the best part about the place! We will be back next summer! Thanks Susan & Geoff!

  • We stayed in early June 2008. The house was perfect for us. The pool was nice to have for the kids, and the fishing pier was wonderful. The house was very clean and everything we expected (and more) based on the advertisement. Highly recommended and we will return. The location is also great...very close to beach,fresh seafood market, restaurants, water park, and Walmart.

  • My family (a total of 15) rented both sides of the duplex for one week and had a great time! It is close to everything so we could walk to dinner, the beach, the waterpark, etc. The kids all had a GREAT time in the pool which is just the right size for little ones. They also enjoyed catching crabs with the cages you provide. The living quarters are very nice and spacious. It will be REALLY nice for a large family like ours when you get the 3rd bedrooms finished on the lower level. The owners were VERY helpful in answering all of our questions and giving us ideas/suggestions for our stay. If we ever return to the Gulf Shores area, we will definitely rent this duplex again. VERY quiet, relaxing, and enjoyable for all. THANKS for a great and affordable vacation. :-) Barb and family

  • My husband, my mother, 3 granddaughters and myself stayed in the left side of this property. Everything was clean, neat, and the view from both decks is awesome - all day - but especially early morning and late evening. There is a lot of activity with people canoeing, fishing, etc. on the lagoon. The gulls, pelicans, cranes and ducks keep you entertained too. The kids loved the pool. We could sit on the pool ledge or relax in a lounge chair and enjoy watching the kids play in the water. My mom and the kids loved the hammock under the lower deck. There is an open area for grilling with ceiling fans and a screened room with seating and a table under the lower deck. There is also a laundry at the other end of the screened room in another area. There is a gas grill which we did not use. We called in our food orders to Cici's or the Shrimp Basket, picked it up and just enjoyed not having to cook or grill. We had plenty of towels and hot water. The 1/2 bath on the main living area was very convenient for the kids. There is a sandy area along the pool and pier area for kids to play, if they like. We used that very little since the kids got enough sand play at the beach. Best things about this place - it is on a quiet, dead end street (no traffic); Hardee's 1/2 block away; beach is walking distance or a two minute drive; Oyster House and Shrimp Basket only about two minutes away, as is the area shopping. This place is peaceful but close to everything, and has the pool to keep the kids entertained when you don't want to be at the beach. The deck is gated and the pool will be gated for kids safety. The pier is nice too. We had a really good experience here. Except for the unloading and loading our car when we arrived and left - everything was relaxing and fun.
