Relax in this lovely Sea Ranch home with sparkling blue water views located in the northern end in the west meadow (ocean side of highway one.) Enjoy all that Sea Ranch has to offer, minutes' drive to the private beaches and children's playground, a short walk to the ten mile bluff trail and the heated pool and sauna in the club house. Oh, and if you like golfing, a great 18 hole course is right behind the house. And no need to bring groceries, Gualala is just three minutes away.
Hang out on the deck and take in the great expansive ocean view, for morning coffee, lunch or an afternoon snooze or cocktails. You can watch the seasonal whale migration from the comfort of the adirondacks chair. Listen to the bird calls, the ocean roar and enjoy the moment. And, for even more relaxation, dip into the soothing hot tub and watch the stars come out.
This two bedroom two bath house is perfect for two couples or a family. The house has a contemporary open design which creates an expanse of natural gathering spaces. During the day, light and views flow everywhere, from the living room to the dining room and even to the raised kitchen which enjoys a spectacular ocean view.
In the evening, light up the fireplace and dim the recess lights for that romantic moment. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes and appliances for simple to gourmet meals. We offer you Starbucks coffee and an assortment of teas.
Both bedrooms have a king-size bed with down pillows and an oversize down comforter. The master bedroom has an adjoining bathroom and the hot tub is accessible from both bedrooms through sliding glass doors. The bedrooms open to views of the meadow in a very private setting. Linens and towels are provided for your convenience.

Relaxing, lovely home but needs some TLC

My family and I stayed at Campo del Mar in July. The home is lovely and bright, with an open floor plan that makes it easy to enjoy family time, cook meals together in the well-appointed kitchen and enjoy the tranquility of Sea Ranch. But, we were shocked and very disappointed to find DIRTY, used dishes and glasses in the cupboards! Most of the glasses, plates and silverware had to be washed again before we could use anything. It was very unsettling. Also, there were ants in the kitchen. Little things could use some TLC- like the broken dining room chair held together with scotch tape and the broken lamp in the bedroom. Overall, the home has a lot of lovely touches- extra books and movies, a very well stocked kitchen to enjoy cooking in, a washer/dryer, hot tub and a flat screen TV. We enjoyed our stay and might even come back. But, we felt that for the price of this rental, clean dishes, a clean kitchen and a few new pieces of furniture would have been greatly appreciated.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway.

My husband and I stayed at Campo Del Mar during the Presidents' Day long weekend. We drove from Santa Clara, and the driving instructions that the owner and property manager gave us were very helpful because the location is definitely not on Google (thank goodness). After picking up the key and parking permit from the Property Manager, we drove to Campo Del Mar. The house was wonderful! It is very open, and you can see the blue ocean from the kitchen and dining room. The view was just beautiful. Kitchen was fully equipped (pots, pans, coffee maker, tea kettle, olive oil, herbs, coffees... you name it!), bedrooms were nicely decorated (the beds...oh lalala...were heavenly). And, firewood and a blue ray DVD player in the living room were waiting for us. One more thing, there is a hot tub located behind the house that you can access it from either the bedroom. If you want to have a relaxing, romantic weekend, this is the place. Go hiking in the morning, enjoy the hot tub after that long hike, and drive to the town for lunch or dinner afterwards. When you are back in the house, start the fire, open that bottle of wine (or champagne), and just gaze at the stars at night. We did all of the above, and we loved it! We are thinking to go back to Campo Del Mar this year because we want to have that relaxing, romantic weekend again.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children.

This is a lovely home. It is clean, comfortable, well-furnished, and well-maintained. And so very peaceful. The ocean is visible from the living room and the front deck, and it’s just a short, very easy walk to the shoreline. For supplies and retaurants, the town of Gualala is conveniently located just a few miles away. And if you like to cook (we do), the kitchen has everything you could possible need. We like Campo Del Mar so much that we visit every year - and repeat business is most certainly the best and most genuine recommendation.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.
