We met some friends for a weekend at this house and it was a great weekend. The house is set up where each of the couples has separate rooms. The views from this place at night and first thing in the morning were fantastic. This is a gorgeous place. Would stay there anytime.

We were here for our annual guys golf vacation, and everybody had a great time and much enjoyed the house. The common areas were very spacious, the dining table fit all of us, and the kitchen was a pleasure to use since we had lots of room to work. Great views from both lakeside decks, and the washer & dryer were much appreciated after a rainy round of golf.

Hi Leslie, I am writing you today to let you know that my friends and I had a most enjoyable time last weekend at the deck house in Point Venture! The house had everything we were looking for; enough beds for all of us, a great den for watching the super bowl, and magnificent views of Lake Travis from the 2nd level deck. We also had a great time golfing at the Point Venture Country Club. It's very convenient and just the right size to get 9 holes in before moving on to other activities. The location is also perfect; far enough in the country to enjoy a quiet, serene and relaxed atmosphere, yet close enough to Austin to take advantage of all the city can offer. The consensus of our group is that we definitely would like to come back in the future. Thanks again for your help in setting up our retreat. Best regards, R D Plano, Texas

This house is WONDERFUL! It is gorgeous and spacious (there were 12 of us and we had SO much room!). The 2 decks (1st & 2nd floor) were beautiful and the backyard was stunning and huge. We were planning on going to the pool area but had so much fun just lazing around the house we didnt make it. I would recommend this place in a HEARTBEAT for friends or family gatherings! We loved it!

The property fit my expectations based on the online description and was exactly what we needed for our 10-person family getaway. It appears to be one of the older homes in the development, but is well-maintained and the decks are fabulous! All of us, but especially the kids in our group, really enjoyed going out every morning and seeing the deer. The community pool is very basic -- not a lot of amenities -- but we really enjoyed renting a boat and going out on the lake. The Pier restaurant was also perfect for a quick, casual bite and the food was surprisingly good -- a notch above the usual bar food and service was great. All in all, a great trip that we will probably look to do again soon! P.S. Make the 30-minute trip to Flat Creek Estates winery. It is so beautiful, you will feel like you are in Napa!

Our group of 4 couples truly enjoyed ourselves. We came for a week's vacation, and at the end of the week we were all ready to book again for next year. The 2 decks provided us room to sit outside as a group, relax and talk, while the living room was spacious enough for all of us to be comfortable watching TV. The kitchen is big enough, and well enough equipped to be able to cook most any meal. The only drawback is there are stairs throughout the house. Two of the bedrooms are upstairs, but even the living room is down a couple of steps. Our group came on our motorcycles, and there are lots of good rides to be found, with destinations just a nice ride away. All the roads in and out were good, though a bit narrow in places. If you can't sit still, there are plenty of things to do in the area - para-sailing, sky diving, exotic animal parks, shopping, historical parks, and gorgeous views everywhere.

I wanted you to know what a wonderful time we had at your lake house! It was the perfect retreat despite the rain. We did manage to get one day of sun. Thank you very much for everything - we truly enjoyed your home!

Hi Leslie, I just wanted to write and say thanks for a wonderful time at your house this past weekend. You have a beautiful home and we really enjoyed staying there. I never have seen so many deer and the kids were in awe. We even made homemade ice cream which we have never made for our kids. I have a 13 year old and his first time to taste homemade ice cream and he loved it.

Thank you so much for use of your lake home. We had a marvelous time with our close family and friends. It was perfect for what we needed. Some stayed in Cedar Park but the rest of us stayed at the lake. We didn't use the pool or facilities, as there was so much else going on. But we loved the area and found your home to be roomy and comfortable. If ever we make it down that way again for some R & R I will contact you.

The place exceeded our expectations. We simply wanted a place for our professional group of 10 to meet and discuss our 2007 objectives. The layout of the home was spacious enough to accommodate our meetings with plenty of privacy for each individual. The rooms are large and the outdoor decks offered exceptional lake views and even better sunsets. Thanks and we look forward to revisiting the place next year.

Thanks for the most relaxing & playful weekend we've had in a long time. Every step of the way, we were surprised by the accomodations from the large bedrooms (we slept 12 comfortably), awesome sunsets from the decks, the olympic swimming pool and the beautiful golf course. We will definitely see you again next summer. Terry & Wayne Jones, the Jones Family Reunion

While we expected (and received) the beautiful views as posted on web, we were even more impressed with the attractive cedar housing and large space layout. Kids were entertained from sun up to sun down. Had a blast on golf cart! Thanks & Looking forward to next year's spring break. Tim/Hunhee Adams
