Just wanted to let you know that we really enjoyed staying at your condo. We had a great time…property manager was very accommodating. We love the set up, and the big lanai with the big view. The bed is comfy, and the kitchen is well stocked. We really appreciated the little things like aluminum foil, salt and pepper, sandwich bags, spices, etc. We also appreciate the beach chairs, the cooler, and the other local trinkets like the boogie board. And, a really big plus, is the great barbeque grill setup. We used it almost every night. And it was a lot of fun cooking with others. Everyone here is really nice.Did you find this review helpful? My wife and I made our first trip to Kihei and we were very pleased. This unit was very nice and it took care of all our needs. The king bed was great to sleep in. And the location was also very good. It was only a 5 min. drive to all the great beaches and shops in the Kihei area. The pool and bbq area is a great thing. we would strongly recommend this vacation spot to anyone who wants a great deal. The staff on site were also very nice to deal with. Thanks' again for a great time and I am sure we will be back soon.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers.

Thank you so much for working with me so my family could enjoy a terrific Maui vacation. It was just what the doctor ordered. Your condo provided everything we expected from the pictures online, and more! The folks at 5-Star were very helpful, too. They got us a great deal on a car rental at Alamo. The manager there offered us an upgrade that was impossible to resist, so my car-happy son was thrilled to drive all over Maui in style. We're sorry to have to leave Maui. Your condo was a perfect fit for us. We can't wait to come back, but might have to bring the whole family next time. We enjoyed the tips and food, activity ideas. Dave and I had an awesome time staying in your condo..we had just fantastic weather which was great as in Kauai we experienced a bit of rain so seeing the sun everyday in Maui was great... You have a very nice condo and you have a great location to sit on the lanai and watch the sunset..it was spectacular and we also enjoyed going to the bbq area to bbq at supper...we met lots of Canadians including a couple from Winnipeg...I couldn't believe it. About the owner: We live in Washington State and love to travel. We hike and bike, play racquetball. Enjoy spending time with family and friends. We chose Maui for our vacation home after getting married here. We love Kauhale Makai for the location, staff and because our condo is one of the BEST!!! We love Kihei for the beaches, dining, friendly people, affordable living, activities, beauty, easy access to everything that Maui has to offer, quick drive from airport to condo, and more!

We love to travel, the warmth, water and sunshine that Kihei and Maui have to offer! Our condo is minutes from the airport and most of the attractions on the island. The location of our condo in the building is perfect: away from pool noise, top floor for best view, less windy side so always really pleasant sitting in the comfy chairs on the lanai, condo is really spacious, beautiful and has everything we need for a great vacation. It's a great location, convenient and easy to get to everything, yet it's not in a busy, noisy area. We think it's the perfect spot for a vacation and the unit has everything: oceanfront building, amazing views, nice decor, fully equipped kitchen with nice, full size appliances, lots of space, reserved off-street parking, beach chairs, beach towels, cooler. Also great staff, concierge service, pool, bbqs, hot tub, sauna, tennis, shuffle board, volleyball and so much more.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Our unit is on the 6th (top) floor with an amazing view of the ocean, least windy side of building, top floor means you look over the neighboring building, not into, large sliding glass doors open to lanai from living room and bedroom, bedroom is on ocean side with King Size bed and luxury pillow top mattress pad; full size appliances, large unit with everything you need for a great vacation. The complex is quiet, staff is friendly and helpful and take great care of the building, landscape, etc. The property is oceanfront. Our unit is larger than most other one bedrooms in the area.
