Wally's Wonderland is a LOVELY, spacious, smoke-free, LOG CABIN with beautiful rustic decor, twig stair posts, and stacked-stone, wood-burning fireplace. Wally's can be your launching pad to explore the activities or the place to recharge your batteries by inhaling the clean crisp air on the wraparound deck while enjoying the sound of the Toccoa River. Enjoy the romantic HOT TUB on the property that borders the national forest and provides for extra seclusion.
Our spacious cabin has a large Master Suite – King bed and jetted tub & shower in the bathroom. The second bedroom is upstairs and has it’s own bathroom and deck. For extra sleeping accommodations, we have two sofa beds (queen & twin) in the main living area. (Kids will love the sofa beds because they can stay up late and watch their favorite shows on DirecTV.)
The cabin is very secluded and nestled in the woods. Whether you are looking for a STRESS BUSTER with lots of nature, or a great cabin for families and couples, Wally's Wonderland will be THE place to be.
When you are out and about, you can explore the quaint town of Blue Ridge with its art galleries, antique shops, the old-fashioned ice cream parlor, or Mercier Orchards - a cornucopia of taste. Their fried apple pies will have you coming back for more.
If you enjoy being active, you will enjoy the pristine Aska Adventure Area on the Toccoa River, hiking, biking, tubing, boating, fishing, white-water rafting, horseback riding, or a train ride. Enjoy Lake Blue Ridge, bring your own boat or rent one or simply go swimming. Take a short walk from the cabin to the Toccoa River for fishing, tubing, canoeing, or hiking along the river.
The Toccoa Riverside restaurant is just minutes away, if you decide to leave the cooking to someone else.

We just spent a wonderful week at Wally's. The cabin is beautiful and big! It is so wooded and surrounded by mountain peaks that you will sleep late into the morning because very little light gets through! It is peacful and relaxing. The dog's loved it! It is situated high above a well used road so the dogs cannot go unleashed there, but they will love the river and hiking trails all around the area. Visit the store "Love Dogs and Cats too" while staying. If you bring your pets to Danielle's Great Eats' outside dining area, they will get water bowls and dog treats. The ice cream parlor 'Sweet Treats' has soft serve Frosty Paws with crushed up dog treats in it! This is a very dog friendly town! Blue Ridge is a lovely place with friendly people, and the cabin was too good to be true! Email me if you have any questions about our stay.

My family & I loved this cabin! The photos on line doesn't even bein to do it justice! We loved the pool table & hot tub... def used them both alot! We went & visited a near by waterfall that was beautiful! Everyone that we came in contact with was really nice & helpful. Thank you Laura for letting us stay in your cabin, & being so helpful with all our questions! We will def be comming back this spring!

My husband and I (and dog!) spent four days here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin itself was beautiful, well-made, and super spacious! Laura had a ton of wonderful info for visitors in a binder to help us figure out where to go and what to do. Laura answered all of our questions ahead of time and was very helpful. Cabin was also less than a mile from a GREAT little restaurant with great service--a fun bonus!

My husband and I stayed here for our 22nd anniversary, July 23 - 25, 2009. Laura was great and very accomodating. We were able to reserve it in a short amount of time. It was great and more than we expected. Looking forward to another trip.

This place is too good to be true! I'll never be able to thank Laura enough for booking us so fast. I found this listing at the last minute after the people with the first cabin we had picked were jerks. But thank God they were because I probably never would have found Wally's, which is much much nicer for the same price. And since it was last minute I got to surprise my husband! Which was a special treat for me! We had the best time here and plan to come back this summer with the kids!

We spent New Year's Eve week here and had a wonderful time. The peace, tranquility, seclusion and the rushing sound of the Toccoa River was absolutely wonderful! My husband had just had chemo and it was a great place for him to recoup. The cabin is larger than one would think by the pics and is very beautiful and comfy. The decor is great and the hot tub and jacuzzi tub are to die for. Had a great time shooting pool. Guess we broke about even on the games. The cabin is what you see in the pics instead of like some that are a letdown in reality. The cabin is clean, neat and Laura is a real treat to work with. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone that wants to get away. We will definetly be back to enjoy this cabin again. I must say this is the first one that I would really want to go back to.

We spend a weekend of December at this cabin and we loved it. Everything was perfect, the cabin is so nicely decorated. It is so peaceful all around. We love the place and will be back for a longer stay.

We had a great time at Wally's. It was a real luxury to just get away and relax. The porch is a wonderful place to cook, read, drink wine and just enjoy the woodlands. Our golden "Cayce" loved it too! Thank you Laura for sharing your lovely cabin.

Wally's Wonderland has lots for humans to enjoy as well as our 4 legged friends! We loved everything about our stay - the cleanliness, the comfort, the stocked DVD library, spa, pool table, jetted bath tub (ahhh)... even the little things like the coffee grinder and cocktail glasses. Wally's is a GRRRREAT GETAWAY from the daily grind. A perfect dog's life!
