Welcome to the Hibiscus Hale! Our large, modern Hawaiian home is 2800 sq.ft of paradise! It may be easily shared by two families or 3 or 4 couples. Relax with a sense of seclusion and privacy. In an upscale neighborhood on the slope of Mauna Loa, the wide lanai overlooks the yard, the sparkling pool, palms and landscaped tropical greenery. It is directly above downtown quaint, active Kailua Village, which is situated along a wide bay on the Kona Coast. We look forward to having you stay with us!

A modern Hawaiian home, your Kona Paradise is 2800 sq. ft, and may be easily shared by two families, or 3 or 4 couples. While spacious, it retains a sense of seclusion and privacy. In an upscale neighborhood on the slope of Mauna Loa, the sweeping balcony overlooks a lawn, sparkling pool, palm trees and landscaped tropical greenery. It is directly above downtown quaint and active Kailua Village, which is situated along a wide bay on the Kona Coast. A frequent stop for cruise ships in port, the town offers a variety of experiences for new and seasoned travelers. To reach your Kona Paradise from the Kona airport (KOA) make an easy drive nine miles south on Hwy 11 into Kailua Village, then eight blocks up the hill.

The circular driveway has a covered portico and provides parking for 4 cars or more. A brightly lit entryway leads to the inviting ambiance of the upper living space and balcony (or "Lanai") level, appointed with both modern art and traditional Hawaiian decor. Sliding glass doors open from the living room to tropical views and a wrap-around balcony complete with an outdoor grill. Relax on luxurious leather couches while the island breeze drifts in, or lounge in style with a 60in. television centered around a large stone table. The dining area opens to the veranda view, making every evening dinner beautiful and patio dining possible. In addition, with wood and glass cabinetry accessible from both the dining area and the kitchen, enjoying a mai tai or Kona Brew on the lanai becomes a nightly occurance. The kitchen is fully equipped and contains all the fine dinner ware to accommodate the largest of groups. With a new refrigerator and gas stove, food prep island, appliances, plus an outdoor grill, this home has everything to suit multiple family's every need and culinary whim.

The house is perfect; roomy, quiet, well equipped. Pool was divine, deck is glorious. The beds are very comfortable. Be prepared for some clouds in the afternoons (somewhat of a relief). Kitchen is very well equipped and easy to work in. The greenery surrounding the house and pool is beautiful. We didn't know what to do with our luggage on our last day between check out: 12:00 and our flight: 10:45pm... We loved the local beaches and they are easy to reach...ten min. away. The snorkeling was amazing, sea turtles and colorful fish abound. The food at Fish Hopper was delicious. Drive to the end of 270 and check out the view, breathtaking!

I fully enjoyed my stay. It felt like home. The house was clean and very roomy. The kitchen is very spacious and stocked with all the kitchen gadgets needed. The fridge could have been turned on, cleaned and deordorized at least a week before we arrived; the pool filter needs a little upgrade, but other than those two small details everything was great. I have recommended the rental to friends. Hawaii is one of my favorite places to visit during work or play and I would be more than happy to stay at the my Kona Paradise again, it was a comfort I looked forward to returning to after having a very busy day.
