Route 66 Rentals has recently expanded and offers a variety of properties in The Albuquerque and Southern New Mexico areas. Currently we are offering four homes in Albuquerque; "Route 66 Splash", "Route 66 Blue", "Route 66 Tuscan Villa" and
"Route 66 Celebrity Villa". We also have a home in Las Cruces, New Mexico, called "Casa De Agave."

We have first class accommodations and services, just minutes away from historical Route 66. As our guest you will be greeted by our concierge staff and caretakers. We love to talk about our beautiful cities and state.

"Route 66 Splash" is a 2 bedroom 1 bath fully furnished luxury town home with a fireplace, security system, remote garage entry with a private courtyard and backyard suitable for entertaining and has a private 16 person hot tub. This home comes equipped with all the finer linenes, Stearns & Foster Mattresses and first class service.

"Route 66 Blue" is a private single family home that comes fully furnished and equipped with all the luxuries of home.
The home has three-bedrooms, two-baths and features two king-size beds and one queen-size bed; all linens are 500-thread-count, Egyptian cotton. The great room has two leather reclining sofas and has Direct Television. The best way to enjoy the wonderful four seasons of the southwest is in the private backyard which has an exclusive deck, patio furniture and a pond with a very large gold fish, who we just named Pete. Pete loves to show off in the pond as well.

"Route 66 Blue & Route 66 Splash” are conveniently located within minutes from downtown Albuquerque with easy access to I-40. It is a 15-minute drive to Balloon Fiesta Park, and the University of New Mexico. It's a 20 to 30 minute drive to Intel and Rio Rancho. Both of these homes are featured on this website.

"Route 66 Tuscan Villa" is the newest addition to Route 66 Rentals in the Albuquerque. This property is a 3 bedroom 3 bath two story town home located in a private location and conviently located in the North East Heights of Albuquerque. This home is beautfully furnished and features stainless steel appliances.

"Route 66 Celebrity Villa" is available for the discriminating traveler. It is located in an exclusive gated community with over 4000 Square. This home has it all, from HD televisions to wireless internet and is monitored by an alarm service for your security. The floor plan is open and is very spacious for entertaining.
There are four bedrooms with three full baths; the master bath has a Jacuzzi jet tub. Three bedrooms have a King Size Bed and 1 bedroom has a queen size bed. All linens are over 600 thread count. There is a private theatre with surround sound. This home comes with a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with double ovens. All appliances are stainless steel. “Route 66 Celebrity Villa” has views of the Sandia Mountains and the City of Albuquerque. Please call for details and rates on this home.

Our newest addition "Casa De Agave" is a 3 bedroom 2 bath home located in the heart of the Mesilla Valley. The Mesilla Valley is known for the Rio Grande flowing through the middle of the valley with the majestic Organ Mountains rising to the east. The topography is rich with agricultural land that yields pecans, onions, cotton and other produce, but its real fame is growing the best-tasting green chile in the world.

We will be offering various tours and transportation from Albuquerque to Las Cruces. Southern New Mexico is the home of the future site for the "Spaceport America". Today, Las Cruces offers many attractions, great weather-an average of 350 days of sunshine a year. We provide tours of the Hatch Valley "Home of the world famous Chile Festival", as well as the town of "Old Mesilla".

Mesilla ("Little Tableland") is the best-known and most visited historical community in Southern New Mexico. Since its' beginning, around 1848, Mesilla has had a major influence on the economic, cultural, historical, and political life of the Mesilla Valley. From the Gadsden Purchase, to the Civil War, to the Butterfield Stage Coach Trail, to the trial of Billy the Kid, to being a lively social center in the 1880s--Mesilla has been a prominent part of the rich history of the Southwest.

Currently, there is Optional; Airport, Limo, Car Rental or Tour Guide Service that can be available with any of these properties. There is a discounted rate for guests of Route 66 Rentals.   • We normally stay in our RV when we visit Albuguerque, this year at Thanksgiving our adult children and their spouses were joining us. Needing something larger than the RV we found the Route 66 Celebrity Villa. What a find it was. This was the perfect place. The kitchen made preparing Thanksgiving dinner an easy task. The house is so spacious we all had our space, but were able to visit in comfort. The media room was great for watching the football games, while the ladies watched the parades on the 60" TV in the living area. Hoarace made sure our stay was comfortable and all are needs were met. We will be calling Route 66 first next time we visit Albuquerque.

  • Stayed august 23-august30, 2008. This was a perfect vacation spot. The house was very well kept. There was plenty of items in kitchen so we didnt have to buy a lot to help with our meal. The housekeeper Horace was the best. So kind and helpful. He made our stay at route 66 blue enjoyable and help planne dour daily tours. What a blessing he was to our family. If you plan to visit alburquequ stay here. You wont regret it.

  • Our stay at Route 66 "Blue" was everything we expected and so much more. The accommodations were exceptional. Four of us spent an entire week there from June 8th to June 15th. The location was convinient to all parts of ABQ, and to the interstates going going E/W or N/S. The neighborhood was quiet, and the house gave us a wonderful place to feel at "home" after busy days of golf and sight-seeing. We'll definitely plan on another stay.

  • Where do I begin? I spent an entire month at VRBO "Route 66" from mid-August to mid-September 2006. Various family members and friends from out of state came & went for a week at a time, and other times I was alone. We are former NM residents, for 11 years, so we know the area and all the things that are available to see and do. This is the nicest, cleanest, well-furnished, most comfortable, well located VRBO that I have stayed in in the Albuquerque area. The decor is stunning and the home is extremely well kept. Not only is the house lovely, but the patio area, with waterfall and goldfish pond, is a wonderful place to just sit and dream or to grill dinner. What a place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the weather and New Mexico. Everything that you could possibly need is included in the rental of Route 66. The owners and family are wonderful to deal with or to answer any questions you may have. I had reserved a month in 2008, but due to other issues am unable to keep that resevation, but I'll go back as soon as I possibly can. I cannot say enough about the home known as "Get your Kicks on Route 66"! What a fabulous place to stay. I highly recommend this home to anyone going to New Mexico for vacation. It is truly located in The Land of Enchantment.

  • This place is perfect. I've stayed there twice now and will make the attempt to stay again any chance I get to be in Albuquerque. The patio is a perfect place to wind down after a day and sip a coctail. And Laura and family are the best to work with, too.
