Wonderful two story home surrounded by trees and a creek running at the base of the property. The house is fully equipped with everything you would need for a great vacation. In the summer, relax on one of the two secluded, spacious decks surrounded by pines and in the winter, get cozy in front of the fire and watch the snow gather in the trees. Upstairs, you'll find a king size master bedroom with full bath and access to back deck. There is another full bath and two queen size bedrooms. Also upstairs, you'll find a great open room with fully equipped kitchen, dining room seating for 12 and a cozy family room with fireplace and great windows and door looking onto a deck surrounded by evergreens. Downstairs, you'll find a full bath, large bedroom with two queen size beds and a trundle bed, and a fun pool room with stove, tv and lots of movies. Both rooms open onto the downstairs deck.
The two large private decks are complete with adirondack chairs, umbrellas, tables, heating lamps and a bar-b-que. There is additional outdoor eating space down the back steps at a large redwood table under the trees. It is a perfect house for two families and has been used many times for celebrations and reunions.
The house is very close to Diamond Peak and Mt. Rose ski resorts, hiking trails and the scenic Mt. Rose Highway. You have access to the beautiful private beaches at the lake and a great recreation center with swimming pool and fitness room. If you enjoy gambling, The Hyatt casino is minutes away. There's something for everyone - it is a great vacation home!

We have had the most wonderful vacation in your home. I knew that I was going to feel right at home when I saw the Kitchenaide mixer. :) Of course, we spent most of our time at the lake, but we loved our dinners where we were able to sit altogether inside or outside! Your beautiful decks afford such a peaceful respite with the delightful sound of water flowing in a nearby creek. The decor is also quite charming. We love the bears and moose! Even with 12 staying here, we were able to find seclusion when desired.
Recommended for:People with disabilities, sightseeing, pet owners, adventure seekers, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We had a great time staying at you home vacation. The home is designed as a kid friendly environment. We love the outlay of the house. The backyard is spectacular. We made a snowman and went sledding. We definitely look forward to another stay in the future.

We just had the most wonderful time..I am smiling as I write this as I am recalling all the fun we had building snowmen, tobogganing,sitting by the fire, snow boarding and the list goes on. We had a wonderful time in your beautiful home! The rooms were warm and cozy. The playroom and pool table was a great place to gather and have fun. We enjoyed cooking in your kitchen and eating all together on your beautiful dining table. The views were fabulous! The snow and sledding and snowball fights are memories we will always have here.
