  The views and peacefulness of this home exceeded our expectations. The grounds are so very well maintained and gorgeous. The owner was conscientious in communication and had his gardner and handyman at our disposal while he and his family were away. We cooked and enjoyed breakfasts on the lanai most mornings. The night sky was so magnificent here where there are no city lights to interfere with stargazing.

  My wife and I just returned from 8 days of Heaven as we celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary! The villa was exactly as described and exceeded our expectations. There are two generously sized bedrooms with two full baths. We used the spa under a star-lit sky several nights after exploring the island by day. The pool and waterfall was great for a relaxing afternoon dip. The grounds are perfectly manicured and very private. The view of the Pacific was great for watching sunsets. The mountains behind the villa were stunning as well. It was an easy and quick drive up to Lahaina Town, approx. 30 minutes to get to Kihei and not much more than 45 minutes to Paia (start of the Road to Hana). The owner was very patient and helpful answering all of our questions prior to booking. He recommended Ironwood Stables for horseback riding as well as the Old Lahaina Luau, both were fantastic! We did the Pacific Whale Foundation Eco Tour of Molokini and it was great. I grilled black 'n bleu burgers on the high-end grill and they came out amazing. We enjoyed a quiet poolside lunch with a phenomenal view. Dining in Lahaina and Kaanapali offer breathtaking sunset views and delicious island meals. We hope to return someday to stay in this villa on the magical island of Maui.

  We just returned from a wonderful 9-day family vacation to Maui. It is our family's second trip to the island, and it was a perfect combination of sightseeing activities and relaxation. The house is located in the Launiupoko area of West Maui, about a mile east of the main Honoapiilani Hwy and a couple of miles south of Lahaina. It is also just a couple of miles from Olowalu, which has some of the best snorkeling in all of Maui. The property was as beautiful as described - the grounds were immaculately groomed and the furnishings were top-notch. The only surprise was that the largest bedroom with attached family room and study was actually a converted garage, which had its own air-conditioning controls. Being a garage, the door could only be locked from the inside of the house. We loved the peace and quiet, expansive views of the ocean and mountains, and proximity to Lahaina. Our teenage daughters especially loved the private pool and spa in the backyard. There is a nice paved trail just steps from the house, where we enjoyed early morning runs. The owner, Patrick, was very helpful and welcoming. It was a treat to stay in such luxurious surroundings for a reasonable rate, and made for a dream family vacation! .

  My wife and I visited Maui from Vancouver and stayed at this rental... couldn't have asked for anything better. The views are out of this world, and the house has an amazing pool (which had a waterfall), jacuzzi, and stunning landscaping. Beautiful hiking trails are within minutes, as well as a great running/biking trail. both the beach and the quaint little town of Lahaina are just minutes away and the beautiful West Maui Mountain range lies just behind the property. This is really a fantastic place and I definitely recommend it!

  The house and view are absolutely beyond description. It may be in the most perfect location in the world. We're just beside ourselves how lucky we were to hook up with Patrick and Katie through VRBO and get the chance to stay at such an incredibly cool place. We will be back, hopefully many many times.

  What a spot! Private, estate like setting with pool, hot tub, incredible views, and only minutes from the beach or Lahaina. The villa is beautiful, well appointed and immaculate. We couldn't have wished for anything else and would not look elsewhere when we book again. The owner is great.

  We stayed at this Villa last month in March. Everything was just perfect and the views are great! We are from Vancover, BC and it was great to get away from the cold. I would highly recomend this vacation rental.

  We have stayed here several times and hope to return. The owners are very accurate in their description of this property. It is gorgeous! It is indeed secluded and peaceful, a country-type setting, yet convenient to the beach as well as historic downtown Lahaina. The villa is immaculate, very well-maintained, and the amenities were exactly as described. The view is lovely, especially at sunset. The lighted waterfall is particularly spectacular for romantic evenings. There are also hiking and bike trails all around the property. All said, we'd rate it a 10!

  Stayed there July 2010. Like heaven on earth. Beautiful scenes of the ocean and the mountains. The home is really nice and the landscape is will kept with beautiful native plants and palm trees. Nice walking trails and close to beach and a town close by for shopping and eating out. I recommend it and would stay there again.

  We have stayed at this property many times, and have thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! Beautiful views of the ocean and the mountains! Very secluded and peaceful! The landscaping gives it a "park-like" effect! Gorgeous! Pool and hot tub are outstanding! We especially like the walking trails right behind the property; it goes for miles and affords beautiful views. Property is very well maintained, and very convient to Downtown Lahaina's many shops and restaurants.
