Our recent stay at the property listed above was an excellent home away from home. Location was convenient to the beach and surrounded by good restaurants and shopping. Everything was clean and well maintained...especially grateful to be allowed to take our 8 lb. rat terrier who very quickly found her sunning perch within the home..."The Breakfast Club" offered an excellent breakfast with great coffee and "Wet Willie's" (who made our dog feel welcome by serving her from doggie bowls) fed us terrific lunches...."Tim's Rentals" delivered/picked-up comfortable beach chairs and an umbrella for our use the entire week...even a cart to take all our things to the beach...All in all the week was a very memorable vacation!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway.

My wife and three children stayed the week (beginning 3/1), and although the weather was chilly, I will not pass up the beach anytime. The townhouse was absolutely perfect! the main bedroom had a stunning view of the sunrise each morning, and we took advantage (so did the kids, waking up very early!). The kids played in the heated pool next door, and we found several local restaurants that were fantastic (The Breakfast Club and Huc A Poo). In all, we had a great time, and the Townhouse was perfect. Thanks!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We really enjoyed our stay in Tybee. It was our first time there and we all loved it. The condo was great. Donna was so easy to work with. Tammy was very helpful anytime we needed anything also. It was great, relaxing and the atmosphere on the island was perfect. I wish it had been a little warmer, but honestly... even 50 degrees at the beach is fine with me... after all...I am at the beach. We loved the condo. The amenities were great! The cold weather didn't stop my kids from swimming in the heated pool. It was great having the access to the beach right outside our door! The view I woke up to every morning was priceless! :) I didn't even have to get out of bed to enjoy the sunrise. We have two younger children and a teenager and all of us had a great time. We visited a few restaurants on the island that were great. If you like pizza, go to Huc-A-Poos. The Breakfast Club was good too! We visited Fort Pulaski, and went to Savannah several times. I would totally go back again and would recommend it to others! Thanks Donna! And thanks to Tammy for answering the phone at 2:30am when we got there and couldn't get the gate open. :)Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our first stay on Tybee Island and we certainly plan to return. Tybee is a relaxed, laid back and great place to unwind. The townhome was very clean and we loved the beachy, whimsical decor. The sunrise from both decks is as good as it gets coming up (over the Atlantic) with the Palm tree in the foreground. The local IGA was a pleasant surprise . Just a few blocks with anything you need at very reasonable prices. The meats (custom cut by Matt Pearson) were as good as you get anywhere. Our favorite restaurant was Sting Rays. The parking consist of two garage spaces and one outside space inside a small gated townhome community. The back lawn was well manicured with landscaping that meshed right into the natural dunes and beach. The large gas grill was appreciated and used. The staggered design of the Townhomes created a lot of privacy on both oceanside decks . Donna makes you feel like a special customer !!! We have already recommended this VRBO to some friends.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway.

This was a great experience from the time I made short-time reservations with Donna to the time we left the property. The location and accommodations, even the decorations, made our daughter's graduation (SSU Marine Science Major) dinner a success. It was a warm, fun family experience away from home! We definitely recomend staying at this place without any reservations.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We scored a nice discount on a last-minute, two-day rental at this lovely condo, with fantastic views and direct access onto a very private beach. From the master bedroom on the third floor, I woke up to a breath-taking sunrise and the sound of the waves. We enjoyed coffee and drinks from the balconies on both levels, the kitchen was very well appointed, and the beds were comfortable. Use of the access codes was very convenient, and we went to Marlin Monroe's restaurant twice, right next door - great food and drinks, nice patio area (although the no-see-ums and other bugs were still biting, even this late in the season). The weather was PERFECT - sunny and high 70's, low 80's. Donna was very pleasant and helpful, and the unit was very clean and well-maintained, although a bit older. The beach was beautiful and the water was still pretty warm; we enjoyed walks each morning. The only negative was that the bike tires were flat and we could not find a pump, so we rented bikes at a place down Butler - cheap, at $10 per bike, and had a lovely ride, both on the beach and through the Tybee neighborhoods. It was very nice having access to a 2-car garage and an additional gated parking space. We had ice cream at the Sugar Shack, right around the corner from the unit - YUM! A very nice little getaway; we will be back!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had an excellent time at this vacation townhouse! The view was spectacular from both decks! The garage with room for two cars underneath and an additional outside parking space was really convenient. The outside shower was great to hose the sand off of beach-goers and stuff. Just a short walk to and from the beach. The queen bed and bath on the main floor was perfect for grandparent; and master suite w/bath and another bedroom w/twin beds and bath were great for parents and kids. Both upstairs bedrooms have TV's.There was a spacious living/dining room, yet the bedroom set-up allowed for enjoying your own space. We visited Savannah for a movie tour and a ghost tour, then ice cream at Leopold's. They were making a movie in Savannah when we were there (The CBGB). In Tybee, we rented bikes; highly recommend eating at the Crab Shack and AJ's, and Fannire's is good, too. This condo is a prime and secure location. We couldn't have been happier!! And being pet friendly was a big bonus. An amazing, relaxed island.....a little piece of paradise! Thanks for allowing us to enjoy your home!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Donna was extremely helpful in answering questions from many different parties. Her suggestion of a big 70th birthday celebration at Sundae Cafe was spot-on! One of the best meals in a long time! Tybee is a great place to de-stress and unwind and the townhouse was comfortable. If I had a complaint, it would be that the group that cleans might need to be a bit more attentive to their job, but it wasn't scary dirty. We ate at AJs Dockside (very long wait, ok food), Fannies (nice casual setting), drove out to Uncle Bubba's on Whitemarsh? (very good)..drove into Savannah for a day and had some fun taking kids on the pirate ship cruise (very cheesy but they enjoyed it...my thought was a little pricey). Also ate at McElwees (good seafood and nice wait staff for how busy they were). Ice cream at Sugar Shack was so-so. Ended up renting an umbrella and two chairs and was well worth the price for the week. Didn't have to lug as much stuff to and from condo. Did the lighthouse tour!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

My stay on Tybee Island was probably the best vacation I have ever had. I loved the Condo and it was everything as described. very clean, Beautiful sunset view, perfect distance to the beach, great having the bar/grill and pools right next door. We were there on memorial weekend and what a pleasure to not have the crowds associated with other resorts. Food in the area was superb and the people were very nice. We never drove anywhere, we walked to everything. The only problem I could say was the rent, for 2 people it was a little high, But that would not keep me from coming back.I would deifinitly reccomend this place to others as much as I want to keep it to ourselves. Please thank the owner for me. We want to come back next year. BBRecommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

There were six adults in our party and the accommodations worked out fine. The pictures of the condo were right on and the Tiki Deck was even better when we were all sitting, relaxing, watching the dolphins and enjoying a Pina Colada! Sunrise's were awesome as we walked on the beach in the early morning looking for seashells. We did a little body surfing and boarding enjoying the ocean waves. Also spent some time poolside. Restaurants were plentiful and good. If you get bored, head into Savannah which has plenty to see. We all had a good time and will remember this vacation forever.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay- from April to the fifth of May. Ships and dolphins ride the waves. Walks on the beach were one of our faves. The Lighthouse has 178 steps. After that trek, I lost some pep. Not to worry- refreshment is near; Sangria, Margarita, or ice cold beer. Shrimp and oysters, crawfish, crab- the seafood selection is totally fab. Ice cream, cobbler, Key lime pie- great Tybee carbs, I cannot lie. Our party of 6: Dad and Mom, Rob and Joe, Melissa and Tom Arrived on Tybee strained and stressed. Now all relaxed, and feeling our best.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had a wonderful stay. The view of the ocean, sunrises, and the ships were amazing. We enjoyed the decks and the lovely yard. It was about a 20-25 min. easy walk on the beach to the pier and to the light house. The unit was well equipped, welcoming and comfortable. Great, fun decor! We enjoyed reading your guest books! I recommend breakfast at the Sunrise Restaurant (great grits). The only concern for some quests may be the stairs. Great place, hope to visit again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had a wonderful time for the whole month of February in this three level, contemporary condo that offers room to spread out - with the beach only yards away. Large sliding doors on two levels let us enjoy the view of the beach (especially from the master bedroom upstairs)...and an awesome way to enjoy the sunrise each morning. The kitchen, dining, and living area was wide open and a wonderful place to congregate. The two spare bedrooms were very useful to our frequent guests. And, finally, the washer and dryer were great to have available because this is the first vacation I've ever gone on when I did not bring home at least one suitcase full of laundry. The space was clean and well maintained and the helpfulness of the owners and the management company were highly appreciated...We'd recommend this spot for those who would like to have the conveniences of home but the life of a vacationer...and we recommend off season - with no traffic to speak of and plenty of time and space to chill out, or you could create your own adventures and explore the Island and beyond, like the city of Savannah which is just down the road...It was a wonderful time. Thanks for having us.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had unexpected family come in from Tenn., and we wanted them to have a memorable trip to Georgia. And it surely will be remembered for years to come. We booked the condo at the last minute with no problems and in fact Donna was very generous in her offer, which I greatfully thank her for. The condo was fabulous, even better than pictures. It was spotless and had everything you could possibly need. The best part was waking up in the king size bed looking at and hearing the ocean and watching the sunrise. WOW!!! Tybee Is. has always been our favorite beach and this made it even more awesome. And of course you can't go to Tybee without eating at the Crab Shack. The weather wasn't the greatest but the condo made up for it. Sun did come out on Sunday. Anyway I would highly recommend this condo and I hope to come back again. It is very large and the bedrooms are far apart which makes for alot of privacy. Thank you Donna for making it possible for us to have a great weekend.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We visited July 9-16, 2011 and had a wonderful trip. The view from the back deck, especially on the third level is stunning. The condo is clean and has spacious rooms. Just a one minute walk to the beach. Pools are super close with a restaurant attached for snacks and drinks. The location is great as there is not as much public parking in this location and it makes for a more private experience on the beach but is close to dining. We also visited Savannah on two nights. Only a 20 minute drive to an amazing and historic city. We cannot wait to visit again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I took my grandchildren to the beach along with my 90 year old mother, with this diverse group I was concerned that all would be able to enjoy their time at Tybee. This condo turned out to be a blessing as it was so close to the beach that the girls could go swimming at any whim and Mom was able to sit on the deck and watch. This kept her involved and the girls entertained. As for my husband and myself, we loved the master bedroom with it's own deck overlooking the beach and on-suite bathroom that afforded us a quiet moment to our selves. Each of the bedrooms had a it's own bath, so we weren't falling over each other trying to get ready for dinner each night. The kitchen was well equipped and arranged for easy preparations and clean up, and the livingroom was decorated in a easy, relaxed beach theme that puts you at ease instantly. It is well stocked with all kind of family games, videos, and books. Thank you, Donna for helping us to have a great family vacation! Your condo is in the perfect location and is the perfect location for anyone wanting to experience all of Tybee.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We throughly enjoyed the condo for a family reunion with our adult children. The property is very clean and stocked with all you need for cooking and fun at the beach. The beach access is exactly as pictured on the website. The owners are very helpful and the check-in instructions were very complete. We especially enjoyed our trips into Savannah and over to Hilton Head (just an hour north). The views are spectacular from both decks, great for morning coffee and watching the large ships come and go from the Savannah River. This condo works for families with young children or even 3 couples with the 3 separate bedrooms/bathrooms. We hope to come back someday soon.Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners, sightseeing.

We stayed three nights at this awesome condo. It was wonderful! The views from both balconies are absolutely beautiful. It was so nice to watch the sunrise over the ocean while drinking our morning coffee. We used the condo as a "girls get away" and could not have had a more perfect place. There was 6 of us and everyone agreed that this was the best place we have ever stayed while visiting Tybee. We have stayed at condos on Tybee that would state private parking, only to find that was exaggerated quite a bit when arriving. This condo actually has private parking in your own personal garage! The pools looked wonderful, but to be honest we never even visited them. We needed more time and hopefully next year we can stay longer. Staying longer would have been the only thing that would have made this visit better!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My daughters and I just returned from 6 nights at this condo, and it was wonderful. Steps to the beach, both balconies had great ocean views, I even saw dolphins one morning. It's on the north end of the beach, which is nice and quiet. The restaurant Marlin Monroes was very good, we ate lunch there once and food was great. Short drive to the downtown shops, parking fees a little pricey, but much cheaper than Chicago! I hope to return again for a longer vacation and would highly recommend staying here. Don't miss eating out at the Crab Shack! Also, make sure to do at least one trip to Savannah, short drive, and do one of the ghost tours. We did the one with the hearses and was great fun, plus you get a nice tour of old Savannah, with fun stories. I would advise going to the Kroger store across the bridges in Savannah over the IGA in Tybee (not much to choose from and very small). I found the Kroger after I went to IGA. It's worth the extra drive to shop at Kroger. If you like Thai food, the restaurant in Tybee Island is great too. I would not recommend the Sugar Shack, dumpy and food so-so, fast food if you like that. Thanks Donna for a great vacation!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 6/6

If you want to drink your first cup of coffee watching the waves give the shore a salty good morning kiss & the sun paint the sky with it's brilliant first colors of the day..then THIS is the place for you. Breath in the fresh ocean air from your choice of two balconies facing the beach. Fly kites with your family, ride bikes on the beach or have a nice meal right next door. If the salt water dosen't suit you there are also two pools for your enjoyment. You can have a cool drink brought to you while you read or relax at poolside. Everything you need or want is there for you. I always just park my car & never leave until it's time to go home again. I come here as often as I can (lucky me..it's only a short drive)& enjoy every minute of my stay in this wonderful condo. In my opinion it is the best spot on the beach & a little slice of paradise. If you need a place to forget about the hustle & bustle of life then this is the place for you. I think once you visit you certainly will want to come back again & again. You'll be hooked!
