Just steps from the beach, this is the perfect 2 bedroom, 2 bath, oceanfront villa (approximately 1300 sq ft). Located at the center of the island, Captain John Fripp Villa #410 offers beautiful views of the 3.5 mile length of Fripp Island beach.
As part of Phase II in the Captain John Fripp Villas community, this unit offers a pool for use by guests in this section only. Private parking spaces are conveniently located behind the building.
This two level, 2nd/3rd floor unit has been totally renovated and re-furnished to ensure guests are comfortable and can relax with a tropical island feel. A fully-equipped kitchen allows guests the opportunity to dine at home and then relax in the evening on the oceanfront balcony or stroll along the beach. The family room is comfortably appointed with new furnishings and new audio/video equipment and the bedrooms are newly furnished as well.
Sleeping arrangements are: one king-size bed in the master bedroom, one queen and one twin bed in the 2nd bedroom, and a queen sleep sofa in the family room. Maximum occupancy is seven.
The unit includes a port-a-crib, booster seat, travel stroller and baby gate for those who bring small children. There are also videos for both adults and small children, as well as novels & puzzles.
Fripp Island, a gated community, is a wildlife preserve that is 19 miles from Beaufort, South Carolina and an easy trip to Hilton Head Island, Savannah and Charleston. There are several challenging golf courses around Beaufort plus wonderful dining in town. The Island itself offers a long beach that is seldom, if ever, crowded so there is plenty of room to spread out the family beach blanket to enjoy the surf and sun.
This is a great island for biking as there is little traffic so bring your bikes and explore while enjoying the wildlife - you are sure to see deer. Fripp has everything you need for a safe, family holiday away from home. Come see for yourself!

Our vacation the week of June 4th was absolutely perfect. The villa is clean, comfortable and the perfect size for the 4 of us. The location is true oceanfront...if you walk all the way to the left on the beach, many of those houses are very far back, and at the end of the island, there is no beach - the houses are on rocks! If you walk to the right on the beach, the tide comes up so high there is not much beach. Being on the middle of the island was ideal. Big wide beachfront with plenty of room to spread out and relax. We were right near 3 pools (the villa pool, the adult pool and the kids pool), and also within walking distance of the food court, the ice cream store, the tiki bar etc. We rented beach chairs from the hut and they were super comfortable. We highly recommend the restaurant Boondock's which is in Beaufort. The Ocean View Grille is tucked away near the tiki bar and has pool tables and ping pong tables which made for fun entertainment in the evenings. It didn't hurt that we had perfect weather - only one rain shower the whole week which lasted 20 minutes or so. The teenagers had a blast with the rented golf cart and the island is so family oriented, it makes it perfect. Beautiful villa, fabulous island and the vacation of a lifetime!

We have been renting this Villa for four years, it is like going home to us. The villa is well equipped, decorated nicely, very comfortable bedding, clean and well maintained. The location is great, being able to view the ocean while dining or relaxing on the deck and from the master bedroom. The owners are most accommodating, and want to make sure that your Fripp vacation will be the very best. I would certainly recommend this Villa.

My husband and I stayed here at the end of April for our anniversary and will definitely be back. This was our first trip to Fripp Island and everything was wonderful. We loved the "non-commercialized" setting of Fripp and the laid back atmosphere. The villa was very comfortable and well equipped; it felt like a home away from home. Many times we were the only people on the beach during the day as far as the eye could see; we felt as if we had our very own private island. The location of the villa was wonderful, the ocean front views of the beach were wonderful & the rental rate was wonderful...I can't say enough. We normally vacation in Garden City and Surfside Beach, South Carolina and it is amazing how much wider the beach is, and how much prettier the sand, seashells and water is at Fripp to only be about an hour or two away from where we normally vacation. We did rent a golf cart from Sutcliffe's Golf Cars; (they deliver/pick-up and are very reasonable). We were glad that we rented the golf cart because we were able to get some great pictures (i.e. sunsets, wild life, etc.) from various places on the island that would not have been as easily accessible on foot. Can't wait for the next "trip to Fripp"!!

My family and I contacted the owners last minute and they could not have been more accommodating and easy to work with. We arrived at the villa to find everything as they stated and it was so clean! The view is awesome and we enjoyed morning coffee watching the sunrise. We will definitely try to stay here again in the future and will definitely tell our friends about this condo.

Spent 4 nights with our 3 children. The view was amazing. We spent time exploring the island and this is the best location. Beach access out your door, never crowded, the kids loved playing in the waves and exploring the tidal pools. The kitchen is fully stocked. Comfortable beds and linens. Very spacious. Lots of books, games, and videos for the whole family. Thanks for such a memorable and comfortable vacation!
