My husband and I, along with our four teenage daughters thoroughly enjoyed our time here over Labor Day weekend. The house was comfortable and clean. We had a short, 15 minute drive to the turnoff to Greer. We hiked the West Baldy trail in the White Mountains, which was gorgeous and came back to comfortable beds and a kitchen that was easy to use. We appreciated the large dining room table and recliner in the living room. Thank you for an enjoyable place to stay!Owner response: I am so glad your family enjoyed your stay. Kim

This home was the perfect rental for my large (6) family. It was very comfortable and was close to sightseeing and Big Lake. We had all the comforts of home and lacked for nothing. We even had one of our favorite restaurants nearby: Los Dos Molinos. The property was clean and well maintained and Kim was so easy to work with. We plan on returning as soon as we can! Thank you!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, adventure seekers, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.
Owner response: Thanks Anna. I am glad you enjoyed your visit. I hope you will come back next summer or even this winter for some fun in the snow! Kim

We really enjoyed our time in Eager. It was a short 15 - 20 drive to the Greer lakes, where we spent our days. It was nice coming back from a day of fishing to such a nice place. We are definately planning on returning next year.Recommended for: Pet owners, families with young children.
Owner response: Thanks, Alan. I'm glad that you enjoyed your trip to the White Mountains. I hope you caught the big one!

Six people stayed in the nice 3 bedroom, 2 bath home in Eager, Arizona. The rooms were clean and comfortable. All the bathrooms were clean and well stocked. I ran out of handcream and even found some of that in the cabinet. Shampoo, conditioner, soap, and all the paper products were well stocked. The main living area had functioning Direct TV, many books, DVDs and videos. There were also board and card games available. The kitchen was well stocked with all the equipment you could possibly want. We thouroghly enjoyed sitting out on the back patio, enjoying the beautiful clear weather with a cup of coffee in the morning, and watching the stars at night ( without city lights - we could see thousands). We used the house as our base for fishing in the nearby streams and lakes. I recommend staying at this home and enjoying the surrounding areas. This house truly made you feel like your home away from home even down to the washer and dryer and the family photos. With 6 adults we never felt crowded. I can easily imagine a family with kids and grandparents. Enjoy!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, adventure seekers, sightseeing, pet owners, families with young children.
Owner response: Thanks, Robin. I am looking forward to your visit later this month. Your work with the Healing Waters and helping war veterans learn to fish is impressive. Kim

Our family had a great time and our kids loved your "cabin" as we call it. Our 5 year old is convinced we should live here! It was a great experience to come -- if we decide to vacation this direction again, we will call you. Thanks so much. Shauna and Ashley DavisDid you find this review helpful? My trip in October was the 4th time I have stayed at the Holaway Vacation Rental. Each time the owner has added amenities or upgraded furnishings. It is a great place to stay, quiet yet close to everything! I'll be back.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Why the Owner Chose Eagar:
We purchased this home as a second home when we lived in Tucson. It was our vacation getaway. When we retired we moved to Eagar full time, where we love the 4 seasons and small town atmosphere. Our sons begged us not to sell our first house after we built a home in Eagar, so we rent it to guests.
