Fantastic Time

We stayed for a week in the condo and enjoyed every minute. The unit has been nicely updated,it was very well equipped and most importantly was very clean. As we had already spent the previous two weeks on St John and St Croix, we were acclimatized to the heat and did not need to use the A/C. The trade winds and the ceiling fans kept the unit at a perfect temperature. We feel that building B is the best located building on the site. The beach is great and we loved the view from the patio. Guests use the beach lounge chairs at no charge so need to take chairs from the unit. The resort is conveniently located near Red Hook. All in all a great stay and we would certainly stay in this unit again if we come back, and we will recommend to family and friends. Thanks Hong and Michelle!!!!

We have visited St Thomas several times and feel that Hong and Michelle's condo is fantastic. Excellent location and one of the best snorkeling sites on the island. What a great value when all is considered. In addition, working with Hong is a pleasure and is a major reason that we are returning.

The beach at Sapphire Beach is the most beautiful ever! You can swim, snorkel or just lay out in the sun or under the trees on the beach. The condo was very nice and clean. Everything was in order. The shower was better than my shower at home. I was a little surprised that the pool bar and one other area was boarded up. There was also some roofing on the same areas that was in need of repair. The cleaning team there was very nice and helpful. Hong was very helpful with whatever we needed. I loved riding the open air safari taxi to Red Hook which was a tip from him. We did always get a taxi for the ride home because the $1 taxi only goes one way. We also ended up taking chairs from the condo deck to the beach rather than paying $7 a day for a chair. Take your snorkel gear and have a blast!

Tropical paradise

My husband and I stayed in Hong's condo for our honeymoon January 2011. The view is breathtaking! As my husband calls it "a tropical paradise". Good burgers at the tiki hut on the beach between buildings B & C. Quiet. Loved watching the iguanas. Awesome coral reef and fish for snorkeling. Nice pool. Overall, we had an amazing time.

BEST CONDO LOCATION ON SAPPHIRE BEACH!

We stayed at Hong's condo this winter and it was a wonderful respite for the two of us from the cold NY weather, absolutely paradise! It was a second floor condo (in my opinion the better level) with a deck and oceanfront view. Just steps from the beach, the location could not be more perfect!!! Sapphire Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in St. Thomas; turquoise water, the best snorkling. The condo itself had a renovated kitchen, well-equipped with modern appliances and a renovated bath also. We really appreciated that it was a non-smoking unit. Hong arranged for cleaning and was responsive to our needs. I would recommend renting a car for picking up groceries, dining out, and sight-seeing. For casual outdoor dining with great food and music, we recommend Big Bambooz Bar & Grill in Red Hook, a short drive from Sapphire Beach Resort. Would definitely go back~ Our first experience with VRBO worked out perfectly!

Hong, We had a wonderful time at Sapphire. Your condo was ideal for us and the beach was delightful. The weather was great and the underwater visibility was exceptionally good. We saw turtles, rays (including a spotted ray) and loads of fish. We have been to many places around the Caribbean, but we liked your spot so much that intend to become a repeat customer! Best, Bob

We had a pleasant stayed at B202 Sapphire Beach Resort, St Thomas. There were enough cookingware in the kitchen + the remodel bathroom is great. B202 located in a nice position within the resort and directly look out to the beach front area. I highly recommend this unit to any vacation renters to St. Thomas.

Location, location, location. That's what you want in St. Thomas, and that's what you'll get in condo B202 at the Sapphire Beach Resort. The view can't be beat! Sapphire Beach is spectacular. The condo is on the second floor, which I prefer to the first floor, because the views are better and there is more privacy. It is close to the end of the building so it is just a few steps down the stairs and you are at the beach. My husband is the beach person. I actually prefer to sit on the balcony and look at the aqua water. The balcony is large with 2 lounge chairs besides a round table and 2 chairs. On Sunday there was live Caribbean music at one of the restaurants that we could hear while sitting there - heaven!! Working with the owner, Hong, on this rental was delightful. We have been corresponding for months. I wouldn't hesitate to rent from him again. So if you want to spend some time in Paradise, then condo B202 at the Sapphire Beach Resort is the place to be!

I stayed at this condo on Sapphire Beach March 29-April 6, 2006. The location and view can't be beat and you are literally steps away from the beach. We spent many days and nights on the beach and on the deck overlooking the ocean and the islands in the distance, watching the hummingbirds in the tree in front of the deck, and watching the resident iquana walk the beach. The beach was beautiful with lounge chairs, towels, snorkeling, and watercraft available to us free of charge. There was entertainment nightly at the bar and a decent restaurant on the premise (although closed Sunday and Monday). The unit itself was clean and comfortable and exactly as it was pictured and described. There are enough pots, dishes, and cutlery to prepare meals in the unit with no problem. Perhaps the best feature was working with the owner, Hong. He is very responsive and accomodating to answer any questions or problems that may arise. The hotel mixed up our maid service and literally within 30 minutes of leaving an e mail Hong had corrected the problem. I highly recommend this unit for a great casual, hassle-free beach unit. I will most likely stay at this unit again and would work with Hong without hesitation at any of his properties. Sincerely, John Polischuk
