We usually go on vacation to Orlando every year. This year we decided to get away from the chaos and theme parks. We all were a bit apprehensive about staying in a house that we only saw pictures of on-line. However, all 9 of us were so happy we did!!! This house was beautiful inside and out!! Very clean well kept and plenty of room for all of us. The pool was awesome ( very clean ) The kids loved the doc out back and were even able to see a sting ray. The private beach was something you would see out of a postcard. There was plenty to do in the area, we went to tarpon springs 2 of the days, rented a boat from a marina the kids also enjoyed this. The dolphins were swimming all around us. I am so happy that we decided to go this route this year instead of a suite in a hotel room. The owners of this were very easy to deal with. I would email Heather and she would always get right back to me. Thank you for such a pleasant stay and I would definitely love to stay here again!!

The house was as nice as it is listed, if not more. After going to nearby beaches everyday, (Clearwater and St. Pete's and the St.ate Park) the pool was wonderful. We had fun in the pool everyday before having supper. Everything we needed was right there. The convenient grocery store only a few blocks away was nice for last minute items, when needed. The kids had plenty of pool toys and had fun catching and releasing crabs and small fish from the dock. The pool table was great as we had a family tournament going through-out the week. Plenty of room for our 11. Went to Tampa Bay Buccaneer Stadium for a tour one day. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home. We recommend it to families and adults.

Just returned home from our wonderful vacation!! Loved the house, was very spacious and clean. The pool was wonderful also, we had it heated for the week since we had a baby with us. Tom was right there when we had a couple of things that needed fixed. If you want a quiet and relaxing place to get away from it all, this is the place. No noise from neighbors and very high class neighborhood. Wish the private beach was walking distance, but can't have everything. Tthank you for everything Tom and Heather.

We had a great time. Upon our arrival we were in awe. We were never expecting the house to be so spacious and so clean. The rooms were large and had planty of room for our family. The upstairs had a very large living room-dining room while the lower level was an oversized great family room, each with a TV. The bedrooms were all good size with plenty of towels and bedding. We had 12 of us over the weekend, we had plenty of room and never felt cramped. All the porches and back yard where the pool was, were screened in. We really loved the stereo/intercom system, music everywhere.! There were several great beaches near by. Robert K Rees Memorial Park and Howard Beach are quite impressive. Tarpon Springs was a hit with our crew and a must visit. The owners were great. We had a couple of questions and they always got right back to us and were clearly willing to make sure our stay was enjoyable. We were in search of a great spot to relax and that would accommodate all of us and we found it.

We stayed a week in July 2008 and had alot of fun. The house was as described and was really nice. The pool was a little dirty but it was rainy season down there. The whole family fit nicely and the house was clean.

The owners of this house were awesome! There is always some trepidation about renting house you have not seen in person but this was a wonderful surprise. The house was everything you see and more. We found it well located to restaurants, stores and sights. The house was great as well. The amount of space allows everyone enough room to not feel on top of each other. The pool is fabulous for kids and adults alike. The full screen porch over the entire back of the house makes sitting outside possible all day or night and makes night swimming a delight. The private beach is great for kids to play and to picnic or to have a barbecue. We had our own dolphin experience watching them swim by during our beach day. Bring your snorkel gear to this beach and you will see all kinds of sea life like small rays and crabs. Bring water shoes for swimming at any ocean beach though. The owner answered all of our questions and helped us coordinate fishing trips and other excursions that we did. We were able to find the perfect fishing half day trip for a tremendous price with their help. Because it is on the water you can fish right from the house dock. We caught all types of local fish with fishing poles available at the house. Disney was a 90 minute drive and provided a day trip opportunity to take the kids to Disney but avoid the hotel stay and prices! We have already booked this house again and have recommended it to all of our friends and family. The only recommendation we would have is to provide some type of wireless internet for those that want or need it. Highly recommended!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We stayed here in August for 5 nights and had a wonderful time. Great size rooms, all really clean and well maintained. Lovely bathrooms. We paid for pool heat and the pool was lovely and warm. We had a great meal at the Longhorn steakhouse and some great takeouts from other local restaurants. We visited Honeymoon Island which was beautiful. Busch Gardens and Adventure Island were easy to get to. We really hope to come and stay here again in 2 years time.

Wow! was our first impression on stepping inside the house. The layout of the property was just perfect for our two families and the pool a great hit with our teenagers. After a hectic week in Orlando this was just the place for us to wind down. The property was clean & tidy when we arrived and there was more than enough towels supplied for us all. The dishwasher was a little temperamental to start with but we found that stating it on a hot wash improved its permormance. Talking about hot washes there was always plenty of hot water for showers etc. We enjoyed visiting the sponge docks at Tarpon Springs and had a (hot) day at Howard Park Beach. We also took a run down to Clearwater, again beautiful beach and a good shopping mall. We found plenty of places to eat locally and found the local people eager to chat and ask us about where we were from. The area is probably not right for those looking for an exciting nightlife but great for just relaxing. We would certainly come back to the area again.

The house is amazing. There is plenty of room. Please be aware that you do have to travel to get to nice beaches. Nearing the end of our stay, we started noticing little notes that threatened penalties. For example, "excessive trash" costs $50 (what is considered excessive?). This was annoying and probably should have been outlined in a previous agreement. In addition to this, there would be no way for the owners to know who, in fact, made the stain on the carpet, because we never filled out a report of what was wrong previous to our rental week. All in all the place is gorgeous, the area is "blah".
Owner response:Thank you for the compliment on the home!! All of our renters love the spacious layout and the amenities. Unfortunately, renters that leave an overflow of garbage create a burden for the next rentors accomodating the home. A charge is posted for excessive garbage strictly for the purpose of encouraging renters to take out their trash on the Tuesday and Friday pickup. This keeps the home gorgeous and amazing for future rentors to enjoy. Plus renters appreciate the cleanliness. Since you couldn't find anything to do, here are just a few suggestions. A list of all the activities in our area can be emailed to you at your request: White sand beaches everywhere: Gulf Harbor Beach Club, Howard Park Beach, Honeymoon Island, Caladesi Island (rated #2 Beach in the US), Dunedin Beach, Clearwater Beach, Sand Key....... and many more Pontoon rentals, sailing charters, deep sea fishing charters a few blocks from home. White sand islands on the gulf just 2-miles off shore (for the boaters) pontoon renters go there and love it) so do we every other weekend. Lots of shells, sand dollars and starfish. Golf courses everywhere from very cheap to world class Innisbrook Copperhead!! Busch Gardens Theme Park and Adventure Island Waterpark in Tampa. Florida Aquarium, Channelside (Fun Night Life) 35 minutes from home. Historic Greek Sponge docks and touristy stuff, Dolphin watching charters, fishing, aquarium etc.. 10-minutes from home... Major shopping in Clearwater, Tampa and St. Petersburg, the home is central to all. Disneyworld, Universal Studios and Orlando 1 1/2 hour from home. Famous Weeki Wachee Mermaid waterpark and natural spring 45 min from home. Crystal river park and camping 1 1/2 hour from home. Dinosaur land park 60 minutes from home. Casino (Hard Rock) 45 minutes from home. There is a ton more to do, just call me and I can assist next time!!!
