Testimonial from one of our most recent visitors....
"...our stay was very enjoyable and we fell in love with the place. Everything was as expected and your place is really furnished well. We will be looking at trying to get back up..."
We have an agreement with another owner of a Lakota town home with a fairly similar unit for those with larger parties that may need more than 1 unit.

Why the Owner Chose Lakota
We love the location! It is close enough to walk to the Winter Park base area. We nearly always walk in the summer. In the winter with our ski equipment, we usually shuttle or drive.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome
It is so close to everything. Close to the Winter Park and Mary Jane base areas, close to the town of Winter Park and close to Denver.
Owner's Map of Lakota
The unit is owned by 2 families. Each family has 2 adults and 2 kids (8 years old and 6 years old). Our families love to get away to the mountains. Winter Park is a quick drive from Denver but makes us feel miles away. The adults and kids love to ski and snowboard and Winter Park is a great place for it. The champagne powder and lack of crowds make Winter Park and Mary Jane a popular spot with all of us.
We also love Winter Park in the off seasons. The summer is great for activities at the Winter Park base (Mountain biking, the alpine slide, climbing the rock wall, miniature golf, the trampoline/bungee cord and the maze are great). Hiking and wildlife viewing are great in Rocky Mountain National Park. There are lots of great places to golf and bike. Boating on Grand Lake, Grandby or Shadow Mountain Lake is lots of fun, too.
Spring is the best for wildflowers and the fall is wonderful for viewing fall colors.
We hope you'll try all the seasons.
