A quiet alternative to busy Waikiki, we give you the best both, world famous Waikiki Beach and the peaceful side of Diamond Head. Just a hand full of sand’s throw away, you can spend time catching the waves, soaking up the sun’s rays and be awed by gorgeous sunsets. Kapiolani Park is right next to Sansousi, which is our favorite beach because it’s close to home and parking is free. Diamond Head Crater is less than a mile away and a two-minute drive into the crater. Once inside, the trail it will lead you to the top of Diamond Head, where you will see spectacular views of Waikiki, beautiful “Blue Hawaii” oceans waters and breathtaking mountains. Kahala Mall is a 2 minute drive, which has many shops and restaurants, the Hawaii Convention Center 10- minute drive, Ala Moana Shopping Center is 10 minutes by car. Swap Meet is 30 minute drive. The University of Hawaii is 2-3 miles or seven minutes by car. We’re two blocks from Kapiolani Community College. To find us on the map, look up Kilauea Park, 4109 Kilauea Ave. We are located 1 block away. We are easy to find from the airport, which is 10 miles, a 20-minutes drive. From airport to Kaimuki: Exit the airport toward Honolulu. Move into the far left lane - to H-1 eastbound. Drive about 12 miles, then take Kokohead, Freeway Exit 26. Turn right onto Kokohead, and immediately turn left on Pahoa. Go down Pahoa about one-half mile and turn right on 20th Avenue. Our home is on your left. Experience the Aloha Spirit in Paradise While staying in our home you will experience natural tranquility and love to be awakened by songbirds. You will get a taste of Hawaii and find rest and understand why we like the laid-back Hawaiian lifestyle. The front bedroom opens up to an outside deck, with lawn and barbeque area, and is shaded by a mango tree. This is a quiet and restful place to sit in the shade, grill your dinners and enjoy the cool tradewinds. Two bedrooms have queen-size beds and the one has two twin beds. Our neighborhood is clean, quiet and safe. Our newly remodeled home is clean, comfortable, casual, cozy and relaxing. It’s fully equipped with new dishwasher, stove, refrigerator, washer/dryer, beach towels etc. Our home is smoke free and no pets. We have another place on property if you have a larger family and/or bigger group. Our rates are low to help you afford a memorable stay in paradise. Parking is free.
