The BraeMark Lodge (formally the Converse Family Lodge) has recently received an extreme makeover. This end unit has 3 elevations of windows presenting majestic views. Our home is a Ski In/Ski Out condominium off the "Lower Hades" and the "Yellow Brick Road" runs of Purgatory Mountain. With only a few steps through an open yard in which the kids can play, you are either skiing/walking down Yellow Brick Road to the Village or to the new high-speed six-Pak chair lift. You will treasure the splendor of the sunny days and fluffy powder skiing (260" annual average). At the day’s end, you can ski right up to the slope-side entry; step out of your gear and into your home away from home.
This condo offers a rustic charm and sense of serenity that you will want to experience again and again. Whether relaxing in front of the natural stone fireplace and enjoying the magnificent views or rejuvenating your tired muscles in the 2 person airjet jacuzzi tub, you can’t help feeling pampered. Approximately 2100 square feet consisting of a large, open kitchen, living and dining area, four bedrooms and three full and one half baths provide plenty of space to sleep and entertain a group of ten. Secluded, yet convenient, comfortable and luxurious, we think our home is one of the best values on the mountain.

NO MORE SNOW! Day 1: 10" of new powder, Day 2: 5" new powder, Day 3: The most perfect ski day that I have seen in 20 years. High in the mid 30's to 40's and so much powder! Day 4: 12" new powder. It took the kids a few minutes to find their skis burried in the snow. Day 5: Broken arm. One of the girls met the mountain while boarding. The emergency room at the base area at Durango is the BEST. Great people. Day 6: heading back to Dallas and the real world. Thank you so much for the wonderful place. I would say this is one of the best Condo's on the mountain. We will be back!

What a great week we've had! Although it would have been great to have some new powder--spring skiing in shirt sleeves is pretty awesome! Jerry, Scott, Tom & Patrick went fly-fishing on three of four days here. (Once, on a float trip on the San Juan, and twice on the river in Durango!) The big event this week is me (Nancy) learning to snowboard at age 45! I'm hooked! You have a wonderful home here. We'd love to come back. Thank you for sharing! Thank you for letting us share your wonderful home. We were almost all beginners and we had a great first experience. Out of six adults only one of us is leaving on crutches, and she was not one of the novices. Despite the injury we had the time of our lives and can't wait to come again, Sincerely.
