Welcome to our private home located in a peaceful setting on Beech Mountain. With almost 2000 sq. feet, our large chalet offers plenty of room to relax and enjoy the family, sneak off and read a good book, or if you must keep in touch with the outside world, enjoy our wireless DSL. We're a short walk to Coffey Lake, where you can fish for trout or feed the family of geese. Next to the lake is the Rec Center, where in the summer you can play tennis while the kids swim in the heated pool, or even attend a day at camp.
If you prefer golfing, we're just 3 minutes from the golf course.
Enjoy year round hiking trails located just steps from the house, with walkover bridges and waterfalls that are breathtaking. At night, barbecue and relax on our large covered deck, watch the deer, and listen to the sounds of nature.
In the winter ski all day and evening. Located close to the ski area, our chalet is one of the easiest to access on the mountain, with a large paved driveway with plenty of room to park and turn around. After skiing snuggle up to a warm fire in front of our large fireplace which is the centerpiece of our home.
Our spacious chalet sleeps eight comfortably. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom on the main level. One with a double-size bed and one with two twins. The master bedroom is upstairs with a king-size bed and its own private bathroom. Off the master bedroom is the loft with a futon which sleeps two. Enjoy our large, fully-equipped kitchen, dining room, and great room with a huge, wood-burning stone fireplace. Perfect for Holiday gatherings with family and friends.
Beech Mountain has amenities for all seasons. We are members of The Beech Mountain Club and amenities are available to our guests for a minimal fee.

We had a great stay at Bentley's Chalet! The house was very comfortable with plenty of room for everyone. Tim and Michelle were extremely friendly and informative. I would certainly recommend it for a stay at Beech Mountain. We hope to go back soon.

It's a lovely and cozy getaway. We loved it. The slopes had closed the previous week, but we enjoyed other activities and sites in the area. Boone, Blowing Rock and Grandfather Mountain are not far away. We also found horsebacking riding nearby. The deer and raccoon occasionally visited in the evenings. Thanks for opening you home to others to enjoy.

Just wanted to let you know that we really enjoyed our time at your place! It was peaceful and serene. We only left the mountain a couple of times, took walks and watched the deer. I think they like the birdseed more than the corn!!! The Wheel of Fortune game was a big hit as was the ping pong table. Thanks, again for sharing your vacation home with us. We hope you have many years of enjoyment on the mountain.

My friends and I had a girl getaway and we thoroughly enjoyed the chalet. It was roomy, near the slopes, and easy to find. We will definately be coming back.

Nice and clean and slopes were so close. Since cell phones cannot be used, we were happy to see that our two-way radios reached from the slopes to the home. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you Michelle and Tim

This "Chalet" (which is larger than my home)is a home away from home witout the hustle and bustle of city living. A great get away winter or summer for hikers, skiers, golfers and more. For volksmarchers, there are two YRE just down the MT in Boone. Most everything is new and very clean, TVs, stereo, coffee maker, BBQ and decor. An extreme bargain. Thanks to the owners for a great get away.
