You will not be disappointed with this very clean unit. Nicely updated with quality materials and furniture. Convenient and quiet location, yet near everything (swimming, shopping, dining). Fantastic views, great layout and comfortable furnishings. We've stayed in several complexes in Kailua-Kona and this is the best we've had. The price was extremely reasonable considering the space and condition. We look forward to returning in a year or two and we hope this unit will be available again at that time. Thanks!

Epic Ocean-Front Condo

Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. This condominium took our breath away with the oceanfront view, wrap-around lanai and luxurious finishing and decorating. The condo was perfectly equiped for us to throughly experience Kona, instead of being tourists. The location is perfect for pursuing adventure activities including Kahalu'u Beach Park for the best snorkling and Keauhou Bay for kayaking and zodiac tours. We loved the spinner dolphin "shows" just outside on the Lanai, as well as the incredible sunsets. Best accomodations experienced EVER!

Our new "place to stay" on the Big Island

We rotate around the islands every year, we have gotten to know the owners of the condos we stay at each year. Our Big Island "retreat" we had always rented in the past was sold a few years ago and we had been looking and talking to owners of different properties ever since (we are kinda picky). We got a good feeling talking with Bev and seeing the picts of the condo. Well we got there and were not disappointed! We have found the place we can come back to year after year on the Big Island. This is a great property and beautiful condo. You can tell the owners have put care into taking care of it. The floorplan worked perfect for our family of 4. Everyone had space, everyone had a view. We were there from June 27 through July 13th and didn't want to leave. The ceiling fans with the windows on both sides brought through the island breezes nicely and was very comfortable inside. The wraparound lania was super. Everything in good working order, comfortable showers (and a great looking jacuzzi tub, although we didn't use it). The seating was very comfortable, I loved sitting in one of the recliners and looking out at the ocean. Kids loved running down to the pool and did so each day. Very nice "pavillon' area outside the pool, it's covered and has great wireless reception. Only good things to say about this condo, it's owners and the overall property. We will be back!

A slice of paradise

This condo was everything we could have hoped for. Clean & nicely decorated with all the comforts of home. The lanai is huge and the ocean views and sunsets are spectacular. We could have spent our entire vacation sitting out on the lanai watching the boats, outriggers & kayaks passing by. We also loved the large swimming pool on the property. We were a little concerned that there was no air conditioning but it wasn't a problem at all. With the ocean breeze and the fans circulating the air, we were very comfortable during our weeklong stay. The location was great with a shopping center and snorkeling very close and it was a short drive to Kailua-Kona. We also loved all the local farmers markets. Recommendations (aka things I really miss right now) - Shaved Ice at the Alii Gardens MarketPlace (on the drive to Kailua on the right side of the road) - Fresh poke at the Poke Shack (on the drive to Kailua on the left side of the road) - Cinnamon rolls & coffee at Island Lava Java (Kailua) We definitely recommend this place & hope to return someday. We stayed here for a week in September 2009 and it made our first vacation to Hawaii perfect. The magnificent sunsets from the beautiful lania, so close to the ocean made our dinners so romantic. We loved cooking in the fully equipped kitchen. It was so convenient having the market and the best snorkeling beach within 5 minutes. We will definitely stay here again. Bev and Lee we had a fantastic time at your condo. Everything was great;the floor plan, the comfortable beds and quality furnishings and appliances,the tastfully decorated rooms and all the necessities of home-nothing was lacking. And of course the fantastic lanai and close proximity to the ocean to watch the gorgeous sunsets. It seems like we spent more time on the lanai than in the condo. We stayed in this wonderful unit over the past summer. It was great. The views are spectacular and the unit was furnished with everything we needed including boogie boards and beach fair in addition to all the towels we needed. The unit had plenty of space and the Lanai was where we spent most of our time. We saw dolphins beautiful birds all the time. The complex is interesting as well with several ruins on site. Also, the golf course next door provided a wonderful place to enjoy the sunset on our last night. The only thing that was not perfect was the lack of A/C. The unit has plenty of windows and fans. This kept us pleasantly comfortable in the morning and throughout the day. However, it became hot once the sun was going down for several hours even with all fans in use. We were there during a very hot stretch in July so I am not sure it would be a problem for others and at other times of the year. I would definitely recommend this incredible unit to everyone. We had a great time celebrating my mother's 80th birthday.

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful condo. What a tremendous location and view! We walked to the beach and snorkeled almost every day and watched the sun set everynight! We also swam in the pool, enjoyed long walks, explored the volcano, shopped the farmer's market up the hill, had dinner at several restaurants and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!! The highlight of our trip was swimming with the dolphins (hundreds of them!) with "Sunlight on Water". I'd recommend it! What an unreal experience! Thanks for allowing us to experience Kona in such fine accommodations.

Thank you Bev and Lee, We had an OUTSTANDING time in Kona. The people of the Big Island are warm, friendly and genuinely courteous. Your neighbors were especially nice to us. The snorkling was very good. We really enjoyed everything about the Big Island from South Point, Volcano Nat'l Park, the northern drive, golf and the restuarants... and yet the best part was the condo itself. Being only 15 yds from the Pacific Ocean made every morning a special event... coffee in hand and a panoramic view, we could have spent the entire day on the Lanai. One day we were treated to whales. Of course, the nights on the Lanai were special as well. We feel very fortunate that we were able to enjoy this time in Kona. We thank you for your kindness in making it happen. Now we are talking about getting back there; who would have thought... God Bless

What a fabulous vacation we've enjoyed on the Big Island! The luxurious accommodations of your condo exceeded our expectations. The well equipped kitchen and wrap-around lanai's provided ample preparation and space to enjoy sunset dinners. Lazy evenings on the lanai were especially relaxing. The sound of the waves hitting the lava just feet away from the condo and the incredible sunsets are memories of a lifetime. The location is excellent..., close enough to town, but away from the noise and traffic congestion. Golf next door at the Kona CC Golf course's Ocean Quest was spectacular. After long days of sight-seeing and hiking the jacuzzi spa tub was so welcome! The condo has great ammenities such as tennis, swimming and volleyball. We experienced all the condo had to offer and totally enjoyed it. Mahalo!

Staying at this vacation property was like staying in a relative's luxury home. Everything we needed was there, all the amenities top notch. It's close to town, snorkeling, and just off the main highway, yet you feel far away from the noise and hubbub. As a member of the travel community, I highly recommend this beautiful waterfront oasis!
