Two lakefront cottages, just steps from the water. One has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 6, the other has 2 bedrooms and sleeps 4.
Mullett Lake is 13 miles long and up to 5 miles wide. Our cottages are 5 miles south of Cheboygan, MI. We are 30 minutes from Mackinaw City, the Bridge, and all the famous historical sites as well as the Mackinac Island boats. It is also 45 minutes to Petoskey or Harbor Springs. Day trips to the Soo and Tahquamenon Falls areas.
The cottages are located on the famous Inland Waterway connecting Lake Huron, Cheboygan River, Mullett Lake, Indian River, Burt Lake, Crooked River and Crooked Lake - Fabulous boating! Beautiful sunsets, small beach in front of each cottage, good sandy bottom on lake, shared dock, row boat provided free with each cottage, boat moorings for your boat, camp fires, dead-end private road, very quiet, safe for children, State hiking trail yards away. Very clean cottages. Fully equipped kitchen. You provide linens, we provide blankets/pillows. Good swimming, boating, fishing. No pets.

The cabins were cute, lake was beautiful. Furniture was shot and very uncomfortable, the shower leaked on the floor. One sister was helpful, but the other sister was a was very rude & mettlesome! She bugged us so much we left a day early. My mother had just died, and we wanted to get away and relax. It was not relaxing. The sister had something to say about everything. I would never recommend this place to anyone.We are quiet and easy going and did not appreciate them being just plain annoying.

We stayed for the first time in July 2010 and it was by far one of the most enjoyable vacations ever. The location of cottages is extremely private and quiet, the sunsets and panoramic views from the cottages huge picture windows is breath-taking. The lake is clean, with sandy bottom, and is shallow for a long distance out. The owner is very accomodating and respects guests privacy. All in all it is a wonderful, clean, and charming cottage. We liked it so well, we reserved a week in 2011. This may be an annual vacation!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.
