Lovely villa with wrap-around terrace overlooking a private garden of palm trees, cypress, and fruit trees, in the city of Nice next to the port and a short walk to the old town, restaurants, shopping, and beaches.
The villa has two floors, the top floor is a master suite with king-size bed and full bath with large shower and has it's own balcony with two porte-fenetres. The downstairs has a double bedroom with direct access to the side terrace and a full bath with shower and tub. There is a fully-equipped modern kitchen with direct access to the terrace dining and outdoor gas barbecue as well as the indoor dining area.
The neighbourhood is mostly old villas and, despite the fact that it is close to the port and the old town, it is quiet and private. There is easy on street parking should you have a car. It is a nice taste of Provence but with all the modern amenities.
The villa is located just above the east side of the Port of Nice at the base of Mont Boron. It is on a side street in a neighbourhood known as 'Parc Louisa' which consists mainly of villas built in the late 19th and early 20th century. The port and its restaurants and the ferry terminal to Corsica is just at the bottom of the hill. Coco Beach and La Reserve is just next to the port. A walk around the port puts you at the top of the Promenade des Anglais, the base of the old chateau, and the old town of Nice. You also have easy access to Villefranche, Cap Ferrat, Monte Carlo and directions east toward Italy. Bus service is easy toward the directions east mentioned above and toward the city's train stations, airport, and other ameneties. On street parking for a car is easy and available in the neighborhood. The location is perfect for enjoying the city, the beaches, the mountains, and the surrounding areas and still have a quiet and comfortable place to stay. |
