OCEANFRONT, OCEANFRONT, OCEANFRONT. Need I say more? If you are like me and would rather stay at home if you can't stay oceanfront, then you've come to the right place. I want to wake up in the morning and see the ocean first thing. I want to drink my coffee while looking at the ocean. I want to bring my lovely wife coffee in bed as she looks at the ocean. I want to eat my breakfast while looking at the ocean. I want to hurry out there to walk beside the waves. Do you get an idea how my day is going to go?
This is truly an amazing place. Property values have yet to sky rocket into the stratosphere like the rest of the East Coast, which translates into a down-to-earth rental rate for you. You won’t experience the parking lot roadways so common in busy beach communities. While that’s all well and good, let’s be honest about the most important thing of all.
Here is a place that, figuratively-speaking, has a ‘temperature of 200 degrees’, melting away in the first moments you arrive all the trials and tribulations of the ‘real’ world. This is the place that, for a moment you become one with nature, where your batteries will get a good, very good, recharging. You can catch your breath.
You can turn to a loved one and say those three beautiful words. It is a mountaintop experience that prepares you to return to the valley where the work gets done. So how does it happen? Looking and walking beside the ocean, being surrounded in our condo by the very nicest things (over and over our guests have said how comfortable our place makes them feel) and lastly, enjoying our island which is, in part, a Nature Preserve (watch for the eagle and her nest).
You are standing, not sitting in the 'catbird seat'. Have you counted how many one bedroom places are available through VRBO for Harbor Island? I hope you have time to read them all. I promise you will learn a lot. Here is why we love our place and why we hope you will consider us above the rest. Our price is better. Our living room AND MASTER BEDROOM are oceanfront. We are completely redone inside.
There are a few things you must promise to do: stop at Gay’s Fresh Seafood, take the Carriage Ride in Beaufort, eat at Steamers, get up for a sunrise and take a nap in the afternoon. Enough bragging; come see for yourself.
