We spent four wonderful days at the Cabin in the Round. We were looking for an intimate cabin for just the two of us to spend some down time together. We had no plans to ski, tube, or even sight see. I looked at some of the other cabins in the area and honestly selected this one because it was just one bedroom. We loved the cabin, it was clean, comfortable, well maintained, and in a great location. While the view from the cabin is not the best, the location is central to hundreds of breathtaking views. A short drive in any direction will get you anywhere from ski areas, to vineyards, and quaint towns with local wildlife. My husband is taking classes fulltime and we especially appreciated the Wi Fi which allowed him to stay current with his classes. If you are looking for a great place to reconnect this is it! We will return as often as "life" lets us! Wonderful cabin Frank, thank you for sharing!

We needed a last minute one-night stay in the Banner Elk area and were fortunate to find this cozy cottage. The owner was so very accommodating and worked with us to ensure that our stay would be enjoyable. The cottage and neighborhood were great. We hope to return soon.

Frank, Thank you so much for providing such a great vacation rental property. My family and I had so much fun. The house was perfect. I have been telling everyone I know to call you when they tell me they are thinking of going to the mountains. I loved the new couch. The decorating was great. I truely didn't want to come home. You have such a great set up. It was peaceful. The location was perfect for everything that we wanted to do. We hiked to the top of the mountain and the view was breath taking.... Once again Thanks!!!!

We enjoyed our weekend at the cozy cabin! It was perfect. Isolated yet close enough to outside activities. A wonderful place to spend a nice relaxing weekend. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us.

Wanted to write and say I missed coming in this year, but last year I took my son and husband and we had a fantastic time for a week. Just as stated in the advertising-very comfortable, great fireplace and loved that there was a full laundry room and kitchen. There are so many things to do around. We had so much fun we decided to add a couple extra nights and the owner was kind enough to allow us to add on without having reserved those nights-just sent him the additional money due! I am planning next year again for sure! (not sure the date is exact that I stayed but it was Feb 2010)

Hi Casey, I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at your cottage. The cottage was nice and cozy. We grilled out everynight, used the hot tub most every night, and we would have stayed cold if not for the gas logs. The ducks came to visit every day and practically ate out of our hand. At first, I was afraid the area would be noisy since the cottage was not as secluded as I first thought. However, it was quiet in the neighborhood and it felt like we were the only ones there. We are glad we found your place (It was beautiful) and hope to revisit in the future. Thanks again, William and Pat Jones

Thank you Casey! We had a wonderful time, wanted to stay longer. You did a great job decorating the cottage, very comfortable and relaxing. Impressed with how clean everything was. We had everything we needed to spend several lazy days just enjoying life and nature. We spent several hours in the hot tub, loved it! Excellent location, easy to find. Thanks!

Hi Casey, Just wanted to drop you a note to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at your cabin. It was truly a dream vacation. All your special touches were so much appreciated, from the puzzels and games in the closet to the wonderful hot tub and barbeque grill on the deck. We had a wonderful time out on the Blue Ridge Parkway and surrounding areas every day, but couldn't wait to get "home" to our specail getaway retreat at the cabin. We knew we would miss the place--and we do already! We hope to return next year, and for many years thereafter.

We have stayed at the Cottage on the Round, and it was really a pleasurable stay. It is comfortably decorated and has the modern convienences of home. The residents ducks were amazing to watch!! We can't wait to go back and relax at this great little place.

We had the opportunity to stay at this quaint little cabin. You never know what to expect, but this one was everything the owners said it would be and more! We can hardly wait to go back. Would you beleive there were toys for the children and games for all of us. What a perfect place for a family vacation, or maybe next time a romantic getaway for me and my husband.
